Player to hit most Homeruns.. Thoughts??

I like to put in a few plays on this prop.

Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on any player

Here are a few i was looking at

Carlos Lee- Houston 35-1
Ludwick- St louis 50-1
Howard - Phillies +250
Braun - Milwaukee 10-1
Dunn - Washington 16-1
Thome - Chisox 50-1

think its howard but from a value standpoint braun doesn't seem terrible. thome is a pass and i think ludwicks #s drop.

I'd scratch Luddy off the list... he's been struggling this spring (.209 average, 12 strikeouts in 67 at-bats), and could very well lose some ab's if they go with a four-man OF rotation that includes Rasmus, since he just made the final cut. I can't imagine they'll not play Rasmus in a platoon role because sitting him does him no good. At his age, he needs to see ab's.

The only way Howard doesnt do it is if he gets hurt

Dudes lost like 25 pounds and is ripping the ball (which is weird for him since he starts slow historically...and he was fat)

Pretty sure he lead the majors in spring training HRs...not that that means anything, but he looks good

I took thome last year, i needed an AL player to throw on there just for the DH. will look at Ortiz from boston..
Ok Luddy is gone.
Maybe add Cabrera ..tigers at 10-1.

I agree Howard is the best, but one injury changes it, thats why i like to play a few others..

I like Cabrerra at 10-1

but again, its only happening if Howard gets hurt

but i dont think you can take Howard from a value standpoint...+250 is absurdly steep...thats like Tiger winning the Masters steep

They used to do most wins by a pitcher, my guy doesn't offer it anymore.

Dunn could be worth a shot at 16-1, if he doesnt strikeout he hits a homerun, though he was also hitting at a homer friendly park.

looking at the Nationals new park, the right field line is only 335 feet, with what only looks like a 10 foot high fence to the bullpen.

it was a league switch. tough on the batter when he is looking at most of the pitchers for the first time each day. He hits more this year.

Absolutely that as well. I just remember the interviews with him as well sying what an adjustment it was. Ball also starts traveling a lot better here when temps get outta the 50's and 60's to the 70's thru 90's from Mid-may to mid-Sept

Of who you listed my pick is Adam Dunn @ 16-1 .

He may have won it last year it not for his struggles in Arizona but also struggled before the deadline . Still hit 40 Hrs but had 32 with 2 months to play and managed just 8 inn 44 games in Zona. He actually hit better away from his 2 Home friendly homeparks . Now just 29 he has hit 46.40,40,40,40 last 5 seasons . He really struggled vs LHP last season and while he has a couple real tough ones in Johan , Hamels and Ollie Perez who is death to LH the rest of the division offers Glavine and Moyer plus Andrew Miller.

He had 36 and 38 Hrs entering Sept in 07 and 06 .

Think we just forget about him sometimes but he is now entering his prime at 29 years old and think he cracks 48 + HR.
