Thanks fellas, last night was a tension breaker as the stress level is now lower but need a win by a certain team tonight for it to be nearly completely removed. This may seem strange to some but I'm ok making four digit wagers but when one adds that fifth digit it tends to get my attention very quick. Thank you. The four digit wagers are cashing at a little over 69% of the time this season. One of the reasons for the breakdown (day, this week,etc) is so that people can see the results and judge for themselves if this is how they want to go. Not a big fan of units when it comes to wagering as many people do not have the same amount in play, which is why cash is listed. Why (you might ask)? Simply put, if person "A" has a play for 10 units, but their unit is only $10, they're only risking $100, it sounds better than the person who plays the same game for 1 unit, but their unit is $100. For those who go that route, I have no problem with it but, to me, it's easier to use money when listing the days action.

How this system is set up, one doesn't need to win a certain percentage of games (flat betting to a degree). Take a look at the overall record, you'll see it's under 50% but the cash (and to me, the most important part of gambling) is up $22,547 to date this season. Seriously, would you rather have a better win/loss record with less cash or a worse record with more? Again, this is not a knock on those who opt for a better record as everyone has to find a way that works for them. I've been around long enough to have tried several ways and this one works the best (for us). I've started teaching the grandchildren some of the basic to this system so that by next year's NHL, they can get a feel for it. Yes, their parents are ok with me showing them this and they will be there at the table when this is explained (just like we've, wife and I, did for them). If you or know anyone who has ever been with money for the day, you can appreciate the significance of this. I know my time here is limited but when I pass, I want my grandchildren to be able to come to this site and be able to look up some of my and our threads and see for themselves that it does work.

You're welcome. A sound system is the only way imo to consistently have a chance at winning in gambling venues. Once one derives one, they must be brutally honest about their (seasonal) loses and willing to make minor adjustments for the following season - this is accomplished by back-testing and keeping accurate records. I have three people all keeping the same stats for me for every season long sporting event wagered upon and we get together every couple days for coffee and donuts/rolls and go over all our numbers. If they all match, life is good. When they don't we all go back together and re-look up the information on the parts that were different. This is not 100% fool-proof, because we could all make the same mistake(s) but it catches over 99.9% of them. I kid to not, I did not plan on posting hockey season for a number of reasons and it took a lot from people I know and completely trust to do such. Since then a few of the issues I've been having (health wise) have decreased. I don't know if it's the posting, the new diet or the meds - all I know is, it's working and am extremely grateful to have a few places on-line to post the sports action. Why do I mention this to you/others? Real simple, there is nothing more important in the world than your family. Remember, the family always should come first.

You're welcome. Many of the same things I stated in my previous post can be applied here (this post as well). Something I just thought of/remembered is that one should learn from their mistakes. Not only in the gaming world but life as well. Never take for grant it what you have and always appreciate what you have. A mind is a terrible thing to waste - don't let yours fall into that pit.
