Off-season discussion thread

According to my data and the history and records I keep. It most likely will be profitable fading Notre Dame in 2025. Looking back to last season their lines were very manageable. After their loss to NIL, sent everyone to bed. Then they were only -7 to the worst B10 team in Purdue.

Nothing but data applies to them thus far, they are one of the tops on my radar.
ND is going to pound the rock and play solid D. They will win at least 10. No idea on spreads this far out, but unders will be on the menu.

Yes you’re right on. They will do what they do, as they did strongly last season. Will this season be as good? Maybe win wise, but their lines allowed them so much success ATS. Much line Penn St last season N. Dame will be under attack against stronger lines. Just my take. Stronger lines and a focus on the running game is not the recipe to consistently cover spreads such as their 2024 season.

Steve Angeli commits to Syracuse.

Interesting side note is Syracuse plays Notre Dame in South Bend this upcoming season on Senior Day. Angeli will be suiting up but not for the Irish.

Notre Dame QB Steve Angeli to portal. Good kid and hard not to root for. I think ND most likely told him he'd probably be behind Carr and possibly Minchey. Just my guess but I think this pretty much cements CJ Carr starts first week.
I'm not an expert on Notre Dame's roster, but the true freshman Blake Hebert (Clemson de-commit) might surprise you. The fanbase was pleased with the take and disappointed with the de-commit. We really liked what we saw.

Mario couldn't even get to the ACC championship game with Cam Ward so no way will they be ranked 20th without him.

Hopefully a result of the 12+ team era is that we get more games like this, since a loss is no longer as penalizing
Absolutely man.

That's really the point.

With that being said, we need to get to the final product -- super conferences.

Although, some of these schools are going to be left in the dust as as the B1G/SEC are taking over very quickly into a power 2.

Stewart is a stud, but like the article said, he's been injury prone. Sucks if true, but that article acted like it's a bad thing to have a freshman WR be your #1. It's been shown many times in recent history that true freshmen can be great WR1s

Edit: Our on3 board says that it has been confirmed by the Oregon guys at on3
Freshman WR who gives a shit lol

"When the other (Big 12) coaches were asked what they’d do to fix college football, they said the usual. Make one date for the portal. Restructure the season schedule. Put more coaches on committees. Deion, for his part, campaigned for a salary cap, pro rules and old-school uniform pants, adding that fines should be levied for those guilty of wearing biker shorts instead."

Coach Sanders nailed one thing at least. The god-awful biker shorts have got to go.

Hopefully he's nailing at least 4 things in Boulder every week

In all seriousness if Saban were to come back it would be with LSU unless Kelly wins big this season.

NEWSFLASH: you're way, WAY ahead of the game

'Easier' money is clearly at the FCS level - I'm slowly working my way there. I'm almost all G5 now. IMO if a guy is really serious about making money, he hits FCS totals, then sides - stays away from this pseudo NFL BS.......... especially if like me, you don't have access to FD/DK/Circa openers.

Fine work man, have a great year .......... 👊
