Off-season discussion thread

According to my data and the history and records I keep. It most likely will be profitable fading Notre Dame in 2025. Looking back to last season their lines were very manageable. After their loss to NIL, sent everyone to bed. Then they were only -7 to the worst B10 team in Purdue.

Nothing but data applies to them thus far, they are one of the tops on my radar.
ND is going to pound the rock and play solid D. They will win at least 10. No idea on spreads this far out, but unders will be on the menu.

Yes you’re right on. They will do what they do, as they did strongly last season. Will this season be as good? Maybe win wise, but their lines allowed them so much success ATS. Much line Penn St last season N. Dame will be under attack against stronger lines. Just my take. Stronger lines and a focus on the running game is not the recipe to consistently cover spreads such as their 2024 season.

Steve Angeli commits to Syracuse.

Interesting side note is Syracuse plays Notre Dame in South Bend this upcoming season on Senior Day. Angeli will be suiting up but not for the Irish.

Notre Dame QB Steve Angeli to portal. Good kid and hard not to root for. I think ND most likely told him he'd probably be behind Carr and possibly Minchey. Just my guess but I think this pretty much cements CJ Carr starts first week.
I'm not an expert on Notre Dame's roster, but the true freshman Blake Hebert (Clemson de-commit) might surprise you. The fanbase was pleased with the take and disappointed with the de-commit. We really liked what we saw.

Mario couldn't even get to the ACC championship game with Cam Ward so no way will they be ranked 20th without him.

Hopefully a result of the 12+ team era is that we get more games like this, since a loss is no longer as penalizing
