I came in to this round choosing the weakest link v public perception I could find and it's UGA defense. I'll sail or sink on that opinion. If it sinks, won't be the first time but that's where I start...the rest is a matter of how I play the game. Not like I'm really on either offense really. But I do best when I'm against. And that UGA defense is something I love to fade. Three top 20 picks. Perfect fade...they're simply overvalued and leaky all over.

Is ND offense good? Question should be...do they need to be?

Texas would disagree. Most of the year their top 5 pick (#13 Williams) has been out or banged up. Christian Miller is back on the DL and hes another high draft pick. He didn't play in the SEC. I think the corners arent as good as last year as they are missing 3 guys who are starting in the nfl as rookies, but the DL and LB are better this year. Fully expecting the Dawgs front 7 to set the tone tonight. If they don't, then i agree it could be trouble. Lets play the game!

Neither is Irish offense tho. Are they not good for lack of talent or just havnt played well? I mean do they not have guys that be playing in nfl cause they always do, maybe they don’t now it just seems unlikely. If that the case I’d bet they play better, if it a talent issue maybe not. I still think Irish be hard pressed to score 20+. Don’t think Uga can score 20 but on ND either. I dunno, I don’t like this game, I don’t really like any these games far as side, I have several props in the Texas and ducks/osu game but after those 2 I’m not really sure what I’ll have.

They have 3 top 15 picks. Still a pretty average at best unit. Think it's much more likely shitty Irish offense score 30+ than 20 or less.

It’s down a point, not that 22.5 or 21.5 is much different. I’m not that confident they score that much. I’m hoping to just hit the props I played in 1st 2 games and not give a shit bout this one, I could easily be buzzed up and pass out if not before after watching 5-10 min this game should bore me enough:

Notre Dame offense is better than all but two teams they played this season and Ole Miss put up 28, GT put up 42. If we need to debate whether the ND offense is better than Bama then we need to not debate and they put up 41.

Color me shocked if ND can't score on this defense...it would take some seriously terrible play calling or complete lack of execution. Indoors to boot!
 
When is the last time that ND won a meaningful game?

Late 80's or early 90's?


No reason to fade a healthy rested GA squad.
Word out of practices is that Gunner is ready and looking good. 3 weeks of reps have really helped.

I hope ya’ll right and I’m happily drugged out and asleep by time this game starts. It im making money today it on the props I played in 1st 2 games, this game isn’t deciding shit for me, you guys sound super confident tho, hope it works out: I don’t know what Uga is and I don’t trust Irish; gun to head id prob lean Irish before I bet their team total which I know you can’t anyways, it be a huge choke job if they score 23+ and don’t beat this team with a qb who been riding bench behind a kid I didn’t think was all that good.

Yea but I’m saying if you confident they score 23+ it be insane they lose to a kid who has 77 snaps in 3 years and not that much talent far as weapons go. I can’t see any way in hell Irish score that much and lose unless it a total hack job by the defense which I trust more than the o.

People seem to not worry about SOS and just go off stats. They need to hope that ND isn't like Boise or Indiana. Big difference playing a Texas or Georgia than Army. We should be able to tell pretty early on if the size and ahleticsm that UGA has can be matched with what ND brings. I think of teams like TCU and others that just did not have the depth, skill or size to compete.
 
Out of all the previous big games that Notre Dame has "not shown up for," this is easily the first time they are even close to an equal footing talent wise. If Kirby coaches this game like he has previous years in big moments, I think it could be a close game and a decent chance of a Notre Dame win. If Kirby coaches a little looser, I think UGA can cruise. The best UGA looked all year was in the second half against Alabama, when they essentially had nothing to lose. Maybe with a backup QB, Kirby will have a little more of that kind of attitude and let his guys go make plays instead of trying not to screw up. I don't have a play on this game as I can't get a real feel for it. Might look at the first half under as mentioned above

That only thing I even remotely like. This game feels impossible to me, I’ve looked at it 100x the last week or so and never come up with things that make me feel warm and fuzzy. Maybe if I drink enough today I’ll love a play by time this game kicks, or better yet I’ll pass out! A few times I was intrigued by stockton rushing total, I think he could run a bit and the total pretty low if he does, taking sacks scares me tho: not sure he got the legs to overcome a couple big losses?

I'm not a props player, but I just don't see how anyone can get a good read on this game. I've read some pretty confident opinions in this thread, but I'm not sure either are based on anything tangible. But I wouldn't be surprised if one them ends up being right

lol. Yea someone gotta be. I have no strong opinion. Not many on this whole ordeal, Jeanty under was my fav thing in awhile but nothing like that today.

Pen st getting the easiest path in history continues. Something has to go really wrong for pen st to be playing in championship game, that was gifted by committee to get here, now another break plus the best 3 teams were on other side. I said this thing was made for pen st when it came out. They finish 5-6 in polls every year without beating anyone, now they in semis and still havnt Beat a legit top 10 team
 
I’m not trying to be insensitive here but how does moving game to 2marro change anything. It’s to tragic to play tonight but 2marro afternoon won’t be as bad???? That was plenty of time to grieve? Lol

So all 3 teams so far will byes lost. And all looked terrible first part of the game. Does this continue tomorrow?
