Are we sure the rule is that it can't be called if the ball was deflected on a FG attempt? I know it's like that for punts, just don't see it too often (tipped ball and running into a kicker on same play) on FGs, so not sure.
I'm not saying it isn't, just asking if anyone knows for sure that's the rule. You can tip a pass and still get a roughing the passer call...wonder if it's similar on FGs? I'd imagine it wouldn't be, just don't know.
