***NFL In-Game Thread***

Thought about this today, how awesome would a playoff game be between the Steez and the Fins with both coaches looking like they could be making a run for Pablo?

Justin Tucker was 100% responsible for not winning that game

To a bigger point, that's exactly why you have to pay big for a kicker. At some point they fade like Tucker has this season, but they are likely the difference between you being 4-13 and 10-7. Not sure it's debatable and most years it will be the difference between winning a SB and sitting at home getting wasted watching it.

Always wondered how these big network guys travel. Does CBS have a couple private jets for Nantz and Romo every week?

Was in Vegas once when Dickerson was on MNF and there he was, sitting at a Southwest gate 😂

I can't see the biggest egomaniac on earth, Nantz, flying commercial.

I met him at Torrey Pines in 2008, he was signing his book which I don't own but incredibly down to earth, humble human being for the couple minutes he spent with me. Will always respect that guy. But agree, he might own his own jet if the ex didn't get it.

Really wanted him to just be some drunk dbag celebrity so I could rant for the rest of time but he simply didn't comply lol

Spags is the perfect example of someone you should pay like a HC but isn't HC material

He's so good at DC, as in elite at that position. He's not a good HC at all but should be compensated appropriately so that he simply lives that life as the best DC in the NFL

FWIW I believe the two best head coaches in the NFL played against each other today, Tomlin and JACK Harbaugh are 1 and 1a. Likely would get me kicked out of Blitzburgh but it's pretty clear to me and that's why they're virtually never on the hot seat

99.99% of coaches would have been derailed by the Antonio Brown situation. My guy just puts his aviators on like it's just another Tuesday.

Agree 100%. I’m constantly defending Tomlin. Everyone bangs the “when is the last time he won a playoff game” drum. I guess that’s the criticism you’ll get when you consistently make the playoffs with teams that probably should not have been in the playoffs. I agree the guy doesn’t know when to use his time outs, but most coaches don’t and I’ll take it with a guy who always gets the most out of his roster.

It's amazing how often he gets so much more out of teams that shouldn't have that much to offer. Pretty cool that regardless the hate, he's kept them relevant year after year and will leave on his terms. Much like every other coach there.

Coaching the Steelers comes with a different mindset than probably any other position in American sports. You have to commit to longevity and trust that your bosses are committed to it as well. There's probably no other job like that in modern day America let alone one that puts you under the national microscope week after week.

Romo is so bad. Cooper catch on the sideline. Silence. Red flag is thrown.

"That's just what I was thinking Jim. May have been out of bounds."

I love that my parents landed in Pittsburgh 31 years ago

Great news!

You're still gonna have to go to Arrowhead to make the SB

Cool game, virtually no drama
