***NFL In-Game Thread***

Two straight mistakes by Dak. Didn't stay in bounds long enough to get to 2 minute warning, then doesn't throw it away on 1st and goal.

lol, Philly was the squarest play in a while...or at least it looked that way to me. They said it got to +6' so maybe some sharps hit both sides. It just looked too easy...

dallas backers always gonna bet the boys, other than NY teams no other have the pure followers like dal

I'm not saying fade the public, I'm saying when it looks too easy it usually is

Looks too easy is subjective, though. The subjectivity is literally in the word "looks"

I like Minshew and I hope he gets it here even though I got small action -4 plus already had a stout day
I expected Minshew to benefit the iggles. the game plan goes to more pass oriented .
But your right, I bet dallas after refusing to for a week. It wasn't going to matter to me after going 1-4 on unders in the morn.

Pains me as a Cards fan but not as a Clone

I'm curious as to the 10 QBs in the league that are clearly better than Dak.

Mahomes of course
Allen of course
Hurts, this is his first really good year but I'll play along
Lamar, OK, great winning %
Burrow, yes
Rodgers, OK, was MVP just last year

Brady? At 45?
Herbert? Talent is there but he's a career .500 QB
Stafford? One SB but otherwise well under .500 and now 34 and looks 40
Lawrence? Talent is there but he's accomplished nothing
Jimmy G? He wins and is generally underrated
Russ? Have you seen him this year?
Kirk? The definition of an OK QB
Geno? Goff?
Tua, Kyler, Carr, Jones.....zero division titles.
Watson? Does he look any good?

I'll concede Herbert based on talent and Jimmy G based on record. That puts Dak at #9. Heading to his fourth playoffs in 6 full seasons, with 3 division titles under his belt, career 60-35 record. Dude's a top 10 QB.

Carrs d has given up most points in league since he was drafted

Plus mahomes for last 5

He has issues, but division isnt on him

Steez +4.5 for me

Seems a FG game either way

More interested in SDSU racking up points (words never said)

Not in a specific order but in 3 tiers

Definitely
Aaron Rodgers is about done but still has a couple of good years left
Jalen Hurts is overrated but still getting it done at the top
Patrick Mahomes best overall, likely MVP
Josh Allen best prototype
Joe Burrow young stud
Trevor Lawrence has way more upside
Matthew Stafford proven vet with plenty left

Probably
Justin Herbert is young wth all tools and still learning
Geno Smith is old but finally getting a real chance and putting up
Tua Tagovailoa having his best year now
Jared Goff he's even winning in Detroit
Jimmy Garoppolo is more of a game manager but would fit in at DAL
Lamar Jackson is kinda like dak but better runner

Maybe
Deshaun Watson rusty after year-and a half hooker holiday
Kirk Cousins actually has looked good this year and has always been close but no cigar
Brady,,,based
Tannehill

Personally, I'd slot Dak in tier 2 and he's probably somewhere from #9-13

He's 16th in QBR which is not the holy grail by any means

I think adj yds per attempt is pretty telling and he's 19th

1671933413223.png

His strongest area is probably TD % which is def helped alot with a strong team

1671933541082.png

Oh yeah he is #1 at INT % but that's the last place you wanna be :pointandlaugh:

But like that @VirginiaCavs dude sez, it's all subjective anyways

Not remotely what I said. I said that one specific thing had a subjective component.

My bad, that's the way I took it and I said so at the time. I do believe most capping is subjective as well as who you think is the best player and/or team
I just meant that what looks easy to me might not look easy to someone else. Someone else could have said oh look at the line movement, yeah Eagles are gonna lay down especially without their QB, Dallas is at home and needs this more, etc

Haha I'm a bit low on Kyler but everyone knows the turmoil here isn't on him, it's the organization which is nothing new

I'd rather a pickaxe to my neck than having Dak f'n Prescott over Kyler

Any of u guys put in a bid on the Commanders? The deadline has passed and I will be interested in what they sell for. Most likely a record price over 5B, maybe to Bezos. I'm sure the NFL is making damn sure some great bids come is as they can't wait to get rid of Snyder
