NFL In-Game Thread 2025-2026

The 2nd Tier Seattle Seahawks look very intriguing to me if they can win their division putting them as a top 4 seed.

Past history of 2nd Tier teams show they must be a top 4 seed as a 2nd Tier team to qualify as a SB Champion, as listed in my opening comment with past champion Tiers & Seeds.

San Francisco looks down and out with all the injuries so their only hurdle in being a serious contender will be the Los Angeles Rams "in" division. Out of division it will be the Detroit Lions in my opinion.

If Seattle can manage a top 2 seed in the NFC and stay healthy look out. They're the only team in the NFL in the top 5 in all 3 categories (DEF, OFF, ST) in DVOA after 6 weeks. This has happened 6 times. 4 of those 6 won the SB, 1 lost the SB and 1 failed to make the playoffs.

The Seattle Seahawks are a team to keep a close eye on.

We have the opportunity to be able to watch a real team up next. Lol

What are you referring to?

The challenge?
4th and 2, up 7-0 in 1/Q instead of getting points he goes for it. Challenging a call I'm not sure if he even knows what he was challenging, looking dazed and confused every time a camera is on him and several other occurrences. Last game he doesn't know the leagur rule with his trick play with Goff. I don't watch much Detroit but when I do, oh my!

To clear up some confusion for you guys...

Campbell threw the challenge flag in essence to use a timeout.

Yes, he could have just called timeout. But, with how this league operates, why not see if they do something stupid.

The defense needed a breather.

Unorthodox? Yes. But, pretty damn smart in hindsight.

But it made him look like a complete moron, again. No?

1. I can tell you don't watch much Detroit if you thought they were kicking a FG there.

2. I explained the challenge for you.

3. What do you mean he doesn't understand the rule last week. He understands it perfectly. The whole controversy of that play last week is the league stated the call for that DID not come from NY. A day or two later, in fact the news came out that NY made that call.

The league got caught with their pants down but obviously nothing will happen there.

I'd have been a pissed off Lions fan if he tried to kick the FG on 4th and 2 at the 20 or whatever it was. Don't care if you're an analytics guy, I am to a degree but in the first quarter you have to go for it. Every analytics strategy know to man says you go for it there regardless.

The QB, under center MUST BE SET after going in motion and he wasn't. That's the rule.

Yep.

Anything 3 or under there he's going for it. Maybe even 4th and 4.

I wasn't a fan of the call though.

3rd/4th Q yes. 1st Q up 7-0?
