NFL Draft In-Game Thread

You can't tell me that guys like Dillon Gabriel and Tyler Shough who is practically a grandfather and played for 152 different schools are worth drafting over Shedeur.
I'm not touting those guys but what exactly makes you think Sanders is a worthy pick?

I'm assuming just the media hype has elevated his status in so many minds.

I think late 3rd was the time to pick him ultimately, but I'm guessing those two teams had all 3 WBs rated close and eliminated the baggage element.

Almost like the Browns were trying to make a point with the pick more than giving a shit about the player. Not that I think he's much different from Sanders really, they are both preseason types for people who love gambling on it. It's such a bad QB draft. Can't believe a team from NY had to trade back in to the first round to draft a dude named Jaxson
They took 2?!

Rapaport was trying to make it sound like the Sanders pick was a lottery ticket.

That was there last pick today and they just threw away their 3rd pick. I guess that's why they pick in top 5 every year.

Bingo.

Helluva 1st pick but I feel like they could have done better at 33/36.

Admittedly 33 I'm not fully aware of..

He's better than anything on the Jets roster. I would have been more than ok picking him.

I'm not exactly a fan but he's better than noodle armed Gabriel.

Oh, he is.

Not disagreeing.

This has just been a nauseating few days of the Shaduer watch. So much build up and too many people bought it.

I hope he does well to be honest, but that also means a ridiculous amount of coverage.

Very solid college QB, I just think the NFL will be tough for him.

What's crazy is it became a non-story for me after Thursday. Was obvious where his valuation was but it was THE STORY which we all get annoyed with. But can't blame the media, it actually is till the story for us that aren't just geeks.

Reality is there will be questions and cameras and a bunch of bullshit that people don't want to deal with. That would also come if he was the 2nd pick in the draft fwiw because of his name. But now it's been escalated because of the fall.

Best part of it all is it's the buttoned up Browns front office that gets to deal with all of this....and yes, that was sarcasm.
