NFL Draft In-Game Thread

I was in Pittsburgh last week and the draft is coming there in 2026. I listened to an interview with the mayor and he said they expect over a million people to come to the city for the draft. They also expect it to drive people to want to move to Pittsburgh. Wild times
My son moved there about 6 weeks ago. So far he likes it quite a bit.

Stephen A tweeting out this is league wide collusion.

Simmer down man.

Despite the bravado, I feel for Sanders now. This is a bit much. He is who he is due to the father.

Now, i never understood why this guy was considered a top pick in the draft. Seemed like an echo chamber for months.

I like him as a college player -- a lot -- but there are many things he does that won't translate well into the pros. In my amateur opinion. I'd assume that's what a lot of teams are seeing -- and yes the baggage.

Take away the name, look at the player, and you're likely looking at a late day 2, early day 3 guy.

So, here we are, and i would assume he's gone within the first hour tomorrow.

Stephen A is an ass clown

Unfortunately I watched almost every Colorado game this year bc my youngest is a big hunter fan.
You're spot on , I thought Sanders was a day 3 prospect. Doesn't move well in the pocket , very little awareness of the rush , forced balls into coverage and often missed open targets ...

Sanders is small and played 1 good defensive team last year - BYU. Sanders is a backup QB and in his pro day he was average with most throws. If you are a GM taking Sanders knowing he is a backup that’ll be a headache (not bc of him as a player) via media and fans… not worth it.

Plenty of reports after rd1 that said a large amount of scouts/GMs had Shough, Milroe, etc rated higher too. I dont know all the interview chatter but if he was an entitled butthole to some teams that shit gets out. If his dad wasnt Deion he probably is a 4-5th rd pick

I think this is it now. Just like Kapernick or Tebow weren’t worth the distraction if they weren’t going to be starter level QBs

@B.A.R. how about the Bears draft? Ooooo boyyyyy
Round #1 is all Ben. No doubt.

Much like the Lions pick, they could have traded back a few spots and still gotten the same guy. That's my only issue there.

Burden is a solid player -- think he'll be a mid range guy in the NFL. Maybe better? We'll see.

Back to #1 pick -- he's dynamic -- perfect for that offense. Kmet will be the compliment to Loveland.

I'm probably wrong but Warren would've been my guy if going TE...

LOVE the Burden pick ....decent value in the BEARS to win the division imo

Yes.

Everything I saw in watching interviews etc that's my guy.

Wildly impressive tbh in today's day and age.

Same goes with Hairston from Kentucky. Totally different from Cam but you can already tell that's a glue guy on a team.
I’m so fucking jealous of that Hairston pick.
Cam too. Pulling for him
