NBA In-Game Thread

Minnesota is so tough to watch.

Jimmy Butler single handedly willing the Warriors right now.

Mostly focused on hockey but flipped for a bit and goodness a tough watch.
 
The review process is so nauseating. Completely disemboweled the continuity of the game.

Rule change - teams are allowed only to contest within the last 5 minutes of the game. That's it. They can contest as long as their challenges are good. One bad challenge and that's it.
 
Didn’t see finish but couldn’t be as bad as how golden st pulled off covering by a half point last night? That one stung like a bitch! So much so I played okc ml today with both the big white boys over rebound totals.

Did same w Cavs, I havd their ml to close out a 3 teamer then I also did bunch of props.

Mobley ov 17.5 points
Allen ov 9.5 boards
Mathurin ov 12.5 points
Haliburton ov 17.5 points and 31.5 “par”
Nembhard and nesmith over treys
 
Added the over 230.5 and Turner over points+rebounds 24.5 I think it was. I prob shoulda took pacers ats instead of over and hoped for another fav win dog cover plus covering my ass on the Cavs ml a bit. This what I ended up doing tho
 
This freaking spreads been insane, they damn near impossible for me to bet. -10s losing home games then they go on road laying 5-6-7 and win but don’t freaking cover. The nba playoffs used to be so much easier!!
 
Pacers got some dude drilling 3s I never even heard of. Fuck im so pissed at mathurin taking away my shot at the all day 8 team parlay that was down to 3 players
 
The Cavs have 6 made baskets? This gotta be like some kind of sick joke. The main problem isn’t im losing Cavs ml but it gonna end up costing me pacers props cause they won’t be playing the 4th
 
Well Turner gonna cash. Dunno if nembhard or nesmith take another 3? Each 1-1. Haliburton on great pace but again he ain’t playing the 4th. I’m not sure if he can make it in 3 qrtrs?
 
Seriously cavs have 8 field goals made in 1st half! I don’t understand why Mobley isn’t shooting?

Analytics have killed the nba. We got to watch the Celtics miss 75 treys in 2 home games so the better team loses. We get so many these awful blowouts if one team is drilling 3s and the other is missing. Pacers winning isn’t a shock but a 2nd round playoff game being a 40 point lead at the half is just redic. It’s unwatchable regardless what side you on, when the damn starters don’t ever play the 4th qrtr it a real problem imo.
 
Even the rare superbowl that was a blowout the players keep playing and I had props decided in the 4th! Gotta give the nfl that much, they change every bit as much the nba, they prob have made more significant changes to their product and while I didn’t and still don’t agree with a lot of them they at least find ways to keep games competitive and leave you reasons to care majority the game 90% the time.

Analytics have not been the greatest thing for baseball imo. In some ways they have been cool, others have hurt it but again even baseball who never changes anything has tried to implement changes to offset some the things analytics have hurt.. nba has to do something about the make or miss 3s deciding so many games by such a big margin.

IT IS BEYOND INSANE THE STARS OF THE NBA ARE PUshing into the 70 mil a year range and they only playing 28-30 min half the time, iIN THE PLAYOFFS!!! There nothing good bout how many nba games I’ve had money on or just wanted to watch these playoffs and they turned unwatchable way to quickly.
