NBA In-Game Thread

I'm just saying that all the talks about refs helping teams from big markets put under huge question mark after tonight, with refs doing all they can to help Indiana win over New York...
Refs don't need any help or direction from the league to do a poor job. They do it just fine by themselves...
Yeah and the Knicks helped them as much as they could

If Tyrese had his foot size a bit smaller, he would have been the first player in NBA history to make a game winning shot in the same playoffs in three different series...

You had that pegged well.

Yeah, I think this one is slightly different. I thought Indiana was the better team than Cleveland from the beginning. I think this series is a complete tossup, so I think there’s value in taking the points each game.

And now could get some value on Indiana, considering how the series has started.

We shall see - great start to the series!

So over 70% of playoff games in the last 30 years have had a decisive margin going into the final minute? No wonder NBA can't compete with NFL. In the NFL close to half of all playoff games are one-score games in the final minute.

Minnesota starting hot from the 3 pt line, again.

Minnesota offensive boards a good surprise.

Points in paint still OKC.

I pretty much know where lines are going to be at HT and only thing I'd lean is Minny tt over but it's a soft lean at best

Minnesota box isn't bad at all.

They still need to be more aggressive inside and get to the line.

Points in the paint is much better.

OKC shooting as many three's in one half as all of Game #1.

Again, OKC with a little spurt to end the half. Tuesday was to cut the lead -- tonight takes it from a one possession game to nearly DDs.

That's the little things that championship teams do...

Minnesota hanging around....

Just staying within distance this half.

That's what they need to do and then go steal one in the 4th.

Dort the only player that was in the playoffs I think with Oklahoma before this season. With RW...
He is true 3&D and it feels like Presti decided to build the team with him as a prototype on wings...

As I predicted, we saw many more fouls/FTs after the light 1h.

Minnesota shooting 9/30 from deep will win them exactly 0 games vs this team.

Anthony Edwards best blame this on his ankle because if he doesn't it's all about how he's a liability in Minnesota

Never had a migraine and not sure what it's like but listening to Richard Jefferson has to be in the ballpark I assume?

1-8 from three.

Use that as a tool.

He's 11-18 inside the line.

This isn't hard.

That's why the first 70% of the year was so frustrating with him.

Completely napped. Hard over the final quarter and a quarter or so.

OKC is a machine if you aren't operating at 80+ percent

Yeah, unposted but I started positioning on overs mid 3rd quarter.

Simply put -- after a low foul half I've been looking into overs these playoffs.

Seems to work.

Especially with Minnesota being "due" for some FTs.

Game died for a bit early 4th but the perfect deficit late to push this one over the 2h total by the hook!
