NBA In-Game Thread

So tomorrow GSW wins and we start the second round with 4 road wins? Wonder if that ever happened...
Books are seemingly getting their compensation for Overs flowing like water. 16-3 last 19 (depending on what line you got for the NY/Bos game, otherwise 15-3-1)

Edit: NHL 9-1 Over last 10 too. Anyone just blindly parlaying playoff overs across the 2 sports is setting themselves to retire before the big dances even start.

Do you remember the unders count the first 15-20 games of the NBA playoffs?

Any particular NBA team you root for?

Historically?

(I needed to ask all time b4 you say fuck the NBA)

I rooted for the MJ Bulls. Kept rooting for them for a little while after he left, but really lost complete interest in the NBA after the rigged Kings/Lakers playoff series when I was in college. Not sure why I've started watching the last week or so. Usually I would turn on a random MLB game instead.

I don't know... Young team, first time out there, no time outs and got transition three pointer? Can't see how they could have been ready for a set up play in 2.8 seconds. Maybe not grabbing the ball to start the 5 seconds that fast? But than Denver also gets time to set up defence.
Starting a play behind your basket with no timeout and 2.8 seconds left usually results in a miss ;)

First time out there? Nah, this isn’t their first time and that shouldn’t be an excuse even if it were true. They’ve ALL played ball their entire lives and have been in those situations. They also almost definitely have a “go to” play for that situation and probably would have made mention of that situation during one of the many timeouts/stoppages at the end.

No doubt it’s a difficult task. But you have to have a play ready in that situation other than A. Pass in. B. Hail Mary.

Young team? Yes, young for the NBA. But not young enough for coaches not to have a play for precisely that situation.

I don't know... I obviously never been in such spots and I'm sure no one here been. You have 5 seconds to make a decision, they got 3 pointer in transition, so they weren't set at all. How you can set anything remotely close to a play, when you have no TO and players are all over the court is beyond me, but I guess we each have are own opinion...

These second round games have been quite uniform so far...all upsets. I wonder if Cavs strong start is an indication of what will happen in other G2s
