NBA Discussion Thread: Monday, April 3rd - Sunday, April 9th

Pistons wearing out the Rockets.

Stan doesn't even know how to tank properly. Stan the GM needs to fire his coach in about 6 days. His coach blows.

Not getting involved in a garbage game but 2h line says Detroit keeps it within striking distance. I think they might win. Rockets showed very little interest in the first half, which happens. It is nothing like their coach wanted but that is human nature.

No amir and flight attendants couldn't make it out to fly out yesterday therefore delayed flight, celts look to get back on track and sweep the season series with Charlotte at a small price...A lot of good motivational tweets I'm reading if that makes any difference..Talking about getting off to a quick start along with rebounding the ball

Stephen Curry (knee) ruled out for Saturday

1611.jpg

Stephen Curry (left knee) will not play against the Pelicans on Saturday.

He banged his knee in Wednesday's win over the Suns, but he was able to play through it. Curry did not practice on Friday and was called doubtful just after practice. The Warriors have accomplished their regular season goal to get the No. 1 seed, so there's little incentive to play him. On the other hand, the Warriors will want to get his chemistry going with Kevin Durant. With Curry out, expect Shaun Livingston and Ian Clark to split the point guard minutes. Clark may have the higher upside because of some expected garbage time.

Davis, Cousins, Moore ruled out for Saturday

1967.jpg

Anthony Davis (left knee soreness), DeMarcus Cousins (Achilles) and E'Twaun Moore (ankle) have been ruled out of Saturday's game vs. the Warriors.

Coach Alvin Gentry hinted on Friday that Davis might get a night off on Saturday. Speaking with reporters before Friday's game vs. Denver, Gentry said that he would rest Davis if The Brow hit the 30-minute mark. Davis ended up playing only 24 minutes, but with the Pelicans already eliminated from the playoffs, New Orleans decided they will sit their superstar anyway. Dante Cunningham, Alexis Ajinca, Donatas Motiejunas and Cheick Diallo will all see a significant bump in minutes.

Dwyane Wade (elbow) will start and is expected to play 20 minutes against the Nets on Saturday.
The Bulls said the last test was to see how he responded in a team scrimmage, so apparently it went very well to announce he's a go even before warmups. With Wade back, that should take away from Jerian Grant coming off a 15-point game while the other guards take a hit. Jimmy Butler's upside isn't quite as high, but he should still feast against the Nets defense, especially with Wade having a cap on playing time. Expect guys like Nikola Mirotic to cool off slightly as well. Apr 8 - 3:32 PM

Gunna watch Celtics game now, seen score down 4 with five to play , got the win for us ,follow up later

Cramps gonna Cramps.

When he's heavily bet the game always ends up getting dicey with the spread.

Guy is the best bar none. Kudos.

just continue using this thread for the final few days

wouldnt be surprised to see the cavs rest starters today.... heat wont have a letdown if they do... already locked in -4.5

Lue white flagging here (Cavs at 2 are still team to beat in East)....C's win out then they r #1 (provided Heat take care of biz tonite)

but really don't want Heat in 1R for C's

so many decisions and jockeying for positions

Norm with this guy. Saw some snapchats from his LA trip. Was dancing with a few white girls.

Wifey must give Cramps the green light as long as he keeps cashing those checks and Nike keeps delivering.

He is the king....

Anyone else looking at San Antonio? Portland resting Lillard, CJ, and Crabbe. Spurs not resting anyone. The thing that worries me tho is how much will the Spurs play their regulars? Like a few games ago against the Lakers, yes everybody played, but in the 2nd half it was pretty much backups

Feels like I should have my head examined for considering any of these games / non games over the last week+. Exhibit #20 tonight in Miami.

On the Pels and kings tonight. They could've opened lakers at -3 but didn't.

Dont see why on earth phx gets off the bus. Blowout city. Enjoy your offseason

Also on kings TT o111 -115

The last the the Timberwolves played atleast 4 road games, then one home game and then a road game the next night (0 rest) was......
