Teams playing 2nd @home vs Conf teams off OT were 6-2 to Under (SEA)

Teams playing 2nd off a loss, @home, off OT were 5-0 to Under (SEA)

Playing 2nd off a 7-9 pt margin result = 9-5 to Over (SEA)

Some cracking indicators for Unders here. While the margin range stats arent as good, they of course incl. all games, not just OT ones. Therefore I personally think it safe to let them take a back seat to the other figures, which combined over the 2 (coming games) are 20-3 to Under. I think it highly likely at least 1, if not both, of these games record an Under result.

Having just gone back over the records for this season and last, Wash is now 10-3 to Over off a 230/100-100 game, an even worse Under record than what PHX boasts. Given I have *banned* recording results from GDS, PHX & MIL, its clearly been an oversight to have *permitted* the recording of Wash's results, to this point, when they so clearly resemble the 3 aforementioned teams. I will move to strike their results from the seasons records kept to date (04-05-06), which should result in a clearer picture painted for the *more normal* teams.

Every category leads to Under for both these teams next games, and both those games concern teams themselves who have put up a few Unders recently (POR U/O 9-3 last 12, DEN U/O 4-2 last 6). Another situation where I highly doubt both these games go Over.

Action, I'd lean more on the LA game going under than the MEM game. Boston seems to be finally rounding into some over form after playing out unders you'd have expected from them after losing Pierce.

It looks likely that I'll cease to keep the Grizzlies results maintained in the overall records, with their style transformation (& hence join DEN, PHX, GDS & WAS as amongst "the ranks of the damned", lol). But my back editing out of their previous efforts would only extend to the beginning of said change. However, concerning this particular coming game for them, they may just have found the right opponent to match their spot to end their current Over binge.

scourge, thanks for pointing that out. I took the final score off yahoo's gamecast (which said 101-94 at the time I read it). I just now see yahoo's NBA page has a 101-96 final score.

Chaos - that refers to which order the teams coming off those results played in following that result. The team listed as 1st, had their next fixture closest to the 230 result, which means they had less time to recover from it, obviously.

Wow, this is a crazy situation. I dont put results in the records for games involving PHX & GDS when those teams are coming off one of these games. I normally would ATL & CHC, except theyre each facing GDS & PHX :an_roll_laugh: So to record their results, would be breaking that rule regarding those no-defense teams. In this situation, I have to observe that the no-defense aspect rules the day, so none of these results will be logged into the records kept on page 1.

I think the post game results warranted my position.

BC, what are your thoughts on the total for Stons/Clip tonight?
Thanks for the insight as always

mpnyc76 - to be honest, under looks a tad easy. I'd have expected this to open anywhere between 182-185. If it had, and money had moved it higher, I'd feel better about it than how things now stand. I also prefer to hit Clips Unders when they're at home, so while based on recent from I couldnt fault anyone taking under in that game tonight, I'm of the opnion they might just be joining the Clips Under train 1 stop too late.

I'll add I had no idea Brand was going to be absent when I posted the above - how easy did that play become.

Hey Crimes....just want to make sure the below comment from the first post is still accurate. Not sure why I always thought Denver was part of this group.

number2 - this matchup has played out 7 straight Overs, and 9 of their last 10 Over. NOK has had 6 of their last 7 home games go Over, the sole Under totaling 195 pts. LA however has played Under (in reg) their last 4 B2Bs. Making a call on how these 2 go in this spot is not easy.
