The only play that really stands out to me is LAA at home as a dog to Cleveland, who hasn't really been hitting. Joe Saunders isn't overpowering but he's decent, and I still think Fausto Carmona is a bit overrated at this point. I know LAA isn't much of a dog, but at anything +, I think they are a nice play.

be careful IMO. The reason simply being Glavine and Smoltz switched spots in the rotation today because of the expected weather in COL. Smoltz coming back from shoulder tightness was given the start today and avoided the cold weather of Colorado( supposed to be about 40). So based on nothing else but what the weather should be I would say proceed with caution and see how it shakes out...:shake:

plus the fact teams are lining up to throw LHs at Cleveland. Danks and Eveland pitched real well . Chicago tried holding Buerhle back 2 or 3 days ectra just so he could pitch @ CLE and I think that was a HUGE reason for why he pitched so poorly. He had to be flat making his 1st start of the year on 8 days rest...LAA losing 2 of 3 is sweet in a way to TEXAS..:shake:

in regards to Seabass and Sportnut...yeah, i agree LAA looks like a good doggie w/ Saunders on the hill. but they're just not hitting like they need too.

if crap Ranger pitchers can keep them down enough to take 2 of 3, from a rival that typically destroys them, what can a SP like Carmona do to them?

Here's the righties most likely to go:

Freel, Keppinger, Phillips, Castro, Hopper (switch), Valentin (switch), Encarncion..

Besides Keppinger and Phillips, that's a garbage pail..

Patterson won't start in favor of Freel...Hopper will play one of the corners for Dunn or Griffey (most likely Griff w/ no off day before the trip in MIL tomorrow), I think Castro will play short and Keppinger will slide over to 1st for Votto or Hatteberg...Valentin has a tweaked hammy, so not sure he can even go..so that would be lefy Bako for a 4th staright day at age 35..

Going to get Arroyo's home/night splits...but I'm almost positive his day splits are worse just based on me watching the Reds.
