first thoughts

can't see any way minn stays with the nuggs....big play for me probably

may go after the hawks if i can get another point or so....although i stayed off dall today because of the line and they covered easily

can see gsw staying under

Have to wait and see on injuries, but hard to imagine the Knicks not getting throttled by the Grizzlies (I'm guessing the opener's in the -13 to -15 range). Also about to lock in the Pelicans under as the series trends under, and a good defensive team like the Wiz unlikely to give up 50% shooting for a fourth game in a row, especially to close out a trip.

OKC large :shake:
Do not understand this. When OKC went in to GS and almost beat them GS was playing 4 in 6 and was missing Bogut and Lee. Lee is back. GS has had 2 days off, 2 days off and now 2 days off. They are unbeaten ATS and SU this season off 2 or more days off. This could get ugly.

Right now i think the warriors are the better team and i had this line at 4. Will definitely be on gs

Lakers will probably not cover today. They have hit an apparent limit with 3 ATS covers in a row and much more importantly the game coming up against the Clippers which means vastly more now than the feud with Portland

Cleveland could easily lose the next 6 games they play after today. Philadelphia has just had to deal with the worst 5 game losing streak I have ever seen and has plenty of reasons to hate Cleveland. Do not see these teams playing nice. Over?

I like Oklahoma. Thunder could have won in Oakland, if it wasn't for KD's injury. Now, they are two games behind Phoenix that are on the 8th spot and just can't afford to lose anymore games.
2.5 points here can also be a lot, since GSW had a lot of very close wins at home.

I also like Chicago - just don't believe in any team that believes in three point shooting and has Josh Smith on their roster.

Some love for the Pacers, at least first Q/ first H. Just think they are better team than Utah.

Agree with Tuck about the Lakers, especially with Portland off home loss, but Lakers right now really focused and I wouldn't want to fade them at the moment.

BOL with your warriors bet :shake:

Over at the RX Sunshine is saying Large system bet on Rockets plus 3.5. Divol is saying Chicago. I look at Chicago and see Rose who has not shot well in the last 4 games and Chicago has failed to cover in their last 5 and have not had 2 days off in their last 8 games and say Bet Them? But it is a good day of the Week and I do not currently trust the Rockets so its a game right now I am willing to skip but I have to wonder why people are pushing these games.

Tuck, all your points are correct. But sometimes, I prefer to ride some angles, till I feel it's no longer good.

Fading Kings, backing Detroit, fading Rockets, backing Lakers, backing Thunder are rival teams TT Under. Not in all games, but in spots that I feel are good.

Obviously I might miss other angles that are the opposite, but we can't cover them all...

I am hearing a lot about Minn and Denver. Minn is a basket case and Denver is 3-7 ATS last 10 on the road and has lost 7 in a row on the road. Is there some angle here I am missing?

I invested in a Wizards ML ticket that pays 6/5. Has anyone looked at that game yet.
No opinion yet but did see this Washington at New Orleans, 8:05 ET Washington: 39-23 ATS in road games New Orleans: 48-75 ATS off a home win by 10 points or more

GS playing on 2 days rest First game at home vs Clippers 121-104 monster cover and over 5 days rest 101-88 cover no over 3 days rest at home vs Sac 128-108 over and cover Last 2 are 2 days rest 126-86 vs Philadelphia 126-105 vs Toronto Looks like GS and Over to me.

In the Pacer game, Pacers b-b are 8-1 over playing b-b Jazz playing on 1 days rest are 7-1 over Refs --in this range are 4-4 4-0 4-4 This tempts me.

I like GS and the over, Dallas, Cavs and i really like the over in this game. Sixers just don't have the offense to keep up with the Cavs, but they will try. Nets don't have the bench or defensive capacity to stop the Mavs. Cavs over already locked, still considering the other 4 bets.

Team/Player trends are not the most reliable.
When you hit a 100 % way of doing things i will be interested. Meanwhile I make do with what I have. Pacers next stop is GS. Think they like the winning option which really does not suit Utah

[h=1]Eric Gordon expects to play Monday[/h]Updated: January 5, 2015, 1:36 PM ET
Associated Press

NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans Pelicans shooting guard Eric Gordon, who has missed 21 games with a shoulder injury, says he expects to start in Monday night's home game against Washington.
The Pelicans have also announced that Tyreke Evans is ill and that his status for the game is questionable.
The club has officially listed Gordon as probable.
Gordon averaged 9.5 points through the first 12 games this season before going down hard on his left shoulder at Utah on Nov. 22.
Gordon spoke after Monday morning's shootaround and said he's "ready to go." He said he's unsure if the team will limit his minutes.

this is the 5th game of a 5 game road trip that had them play the best the NBA has to offer They beat N.O. tonight I'm with ya.
Beat Houston by one and lose the next three. IMO N.O. won't be a problem.

I invested in a Wizards ML ticket that pays 6/5. Has anyone looked at that game yet.

Bullets a decent road team on offense, Pels a relatively weak defensive team that has given up a century in their last 2 games.

Bullets a strong lean for me.

GL.

You make a great case for the Under which I'm playing but it's trending upward so I'll wait another couple of minutes.

Wow - Mavs are playing no defense. No one is willing to get within 10 feet of Lopez.

Thank you, Tuck. I found that it goes back to 2010 and is actually 0-11 ATS with only one SU win. Also, among the Wiz last three losses, two were on B2B and the other one was Durant's second game back from injury. Here is what that trend looks like: link.

Looks like Dion Waiters traded to OKC, JR Smith and Iman Shumpert to the Cavs and MAYBE Reggie Jackson to the Knicks

Friday at the Thunder was the first time all season the Wizards lost a game after being up at the half. They're now 17-1 SU this season when they start the 3Q with a lead. The Pels have trailed at the half in 14 games this season, coming back to win three of those games SU. The Pels have won one of 12 when they trail by four or more at the half this season.

Waiters to OKC; Smith and Shumpert to Cavs; Lance Thomas, Alex Kirk and Lou Amundson to Knicks, who plan on waiving all three along with Samuel Dalembert

Guess Phil's not so smart when he doesn't have 2/3 HOF'ers on his roster...

Should never have signed melo, go rebuild like Philly, lure some FA's not hard to get in NY.

2 parts of this...
Cavs wanted shumpert,, kncks would only deal him if the cans took smiths crap contract... (ny made a good deal - i cringe saying that)

so true on so many levels.... its not a triangle offense-- its fucking motion with 2 HOF'ers and 3 distinct role players who know what their roles are.....

on a business side,, knick do free up about 30 million to piss away next summer.... ny was a destination but now having melo for the enxt 5 years its like goign back to that great resort and finding out it has bug bites....

I've always thought that what OKC was missing was a guy who likes to break out of the offense to jack iso jumpers.
