I really dont understand this logic. What can the organizations do other than continue to put together really good teams that give you a chance?

it's mostly spending money in the wrong places and bringing in players lacking the right mindsets...front offices being incompetent and having no idea how to build a winner. take the 2 biggest signings in the offseason...machado and harper. both of these guys are pieces of shit. machado doesn't even have a desire to play the game, and harper is just a cancer for whatever team he lands on. more fans dislike them than support them. these 2 guys were given $630 million. both franchises basically just fucked themselves for the next handful of years, and eventually will try to eat their loss and ship their problems elsewhere when they realize they made colossal mistakes. you can say ebay was making efforts to improve the company when they hired meg whitman, but in reality, it was just a company that overlooked they were bringing in a cancer that had already run other companies into a shithole, and was going to do the same thing again. a company like this doesn't deserve to survive because these are inexcusable mistakes. sports organizations are no different. you make dumb moves, your stock should get dumped.
 
Grammar pro tip o' the day: The spelling of "clench" is what your butt cheeks do in the top of the 9th inning with the bases loaded when your team is up by 2 and you're holding the home fave RL. The spelling of "clinch" is what happens when that same team allows a run in the top of the 9th but still wins the game to clinch the division title. Thank you.

Keuchel made McCann look like a real POS on that play. No way that's what they wanted to do after that sweet double to lead off.
 
Interesting that skipper went with McCann for his offense, with Keuchel's 4.73 ERA with McCann behind the plate compared to his 2.93 ERA with Tyler Flowers.. then McCann's slow ass still leads off the inning with a double. MLB managers can show they are pro sometimes.

There was so much going on with the runner at third, a really bad angle on the ground ball, and so much to gain with the double play. High-leverage situation for sure. Ball just flew out of his glove on the exchange. He almost redeemed himself with that line drive to Acuna though. Almost
