spring training takes so much time figuring out pitching for the day, lineups, etc, i generally like betting it but i didn't have enough time to invest, without putting in the time no way to make the right plays!

this jap pitcher dodgers just paid a bunch of money for doesn't seem worthy of the hype. not just saying that cause he having a rough outing, that happens. it just everything bout him, his delivery looks more like he playing catch than pitching, his heater isn't good enough to throw by ppl, his splitter doesn't have nearly the bite you would expect, when he close to the zone with it guys are making contact, when he in the zone they doing damage, again it 1 start can't read too much into it, obviously he doesn't have it today but i just don't see the stuff you would expect as pads continue to knock him around, 150 mil

Joined chip on the over HRs, ESPN had 34.5 +200. Never seen that before and DK didn't have it. Only two books I'm using today, ESPN throwing bonuses around with matches as is Caesars. Local one Desert Diamond is too, might try to use them a bit since they have a book at their casino over by the Cardinals stadium.

at one point he was a very highly touted prospect for the braves but he kept getting derailed by injuries. they say he healthy and by all accounts has changed his delivery and looked fantastic this spring. his stuff seemed plenty good enough. he didn't locate it all that well, he didn't really pitch badly, mostly singles all he gave up but he couldn't put anyone away w 2 strikes, caught way to much plate or was to far off plate and couldn't get and chasing.

if matz only pitched like this all the time, unfortunately one of 2 things will happen shortly. he will either lose the ability to hit the strike zone and turn into a mess or he will look good for another start or 2 then get hurt!! never fails...

is it just me or have a lot these pitchers been much more efficient than past seasons? seemed like it was getting to the point most these guys were taking 100 pitches to make it thru the 5th, i've noticed a lot of guys pitching into and sometimes thru 6 innings and for the most part they havnt been going more than 80-90 pitches. hopefully it a sign that pitchers trusting their stuff and gonna throw more strikes and not just a bit flukey!!
