Think your referring to Tim Howard, and although I'm in a tiny minority, I think at this stage Guzan is about his equal. Howard however was awesome in that win in Mexico even if only a friendly.

Howard was at his peak his first 3 years at Everton, and it was a pretty damn high peak.
