Shut out the Devil's at home.

Impressive win at Boston, their second victory of the year.

They took care of business versus the Wild.

Tough loss at The Garden on Wednesday in a hard fought game ...

Nice "layup" tonight at home vs one of the lower ranked WC teams.

On the road next, let's build on this week!

The road to 85.5 points OVER continues!
 
First of two against Philly in the next 7 days tonight.

Action packed schedule heading into Christmas.

The Boys got a whipping last night. Perron coming back should help them get out of this funk. Christmas break can't arrive soon enough. They been playing a lot of hockey and it shows.

Yes, I said last week this was a loaded week and it's showing.

Need a break, and need him back as well.
 
Took Jersey -188 tonight.

Detroit a lot of hockey and a bit beat up. Wild one last night.

Feels like a 5-2 Devil's win.
 
Nice start to 2024 with some West Coast Wings.

Nice effort on the road. They're hot right now even without Patrick Kane. Lyon in goal has played superb, IMO.
 
Huge game tonight in Hockeytown! LCA will be rocking especially if the Lions win. It should be a great night for hockey! Liking the Wings regardless of Lions outcome. GL

That was a nice win to complete the Tampa 2 Step.

We almost went but were just too exhausted.
 
No show 2nd period vs. Dallas. Lyon was peppered with 25 shots. Looking for a bounce back tonight vs. Philly. Lyon back in net. GL
 
Nice bounce back! Lyon was the difference, IMO. Both teams seemed sluggish at times. January hockey. Big game tonight. Fellas need to tighten up their laces. Expect fast game with the Stanley Cup Champs in town. Leaning on the over here. Wings are hot and LV coming off a win VS. Rangers last night. Looking forward to a great game. GL

After the onslaught in Edmonton followed by the loss in Van, this could have been a precarious start to the stretch run.

Now, back to the comfy confines of Hot N Ready Arena for 5 of 6 at home. The one road game is in Chicago, so that's a "breather" game at least.

Let's make a run!!

I'd push hard for Hanifin and sign him to an extension

Minute eating top 4 d man, could be a great partner for seider

on hnic Saturday they said hes much more likely to go to an American team than a Canadian one

Either way that's the kinda move I'd make, pure rental isnt the move yet, maybe in a few years when pelllika, kaspar, edvinsson etc. are all full time guys
 
The Wings are hot! Said that before. Looking for some goals for the boys again today. Kane's return to the Windy city; Chelios like. In fact they're raising Cheli's number to the rafters...good for him! Well deserved. It should be a fun game! As far Wings buying or selling...Stevie Y won't hesitate to pull the trigger. The Wings have cap space. If a stay at home D-Man is available???? Wings have a little swagger going right now...Need to keep it going. LGRW!!!

So, with 20+ games left ..

Looking at the 5 teams below them that can still challenge for the WC...

NJ
Buff
Wash
Pitt
NYI

The Wings play a combined 10 games versus those teams! (None vs NJ though).

Add in one game vs TB.

If things are tight late, the last two games are a home and home vs Montreal.
 
The streak is over, and of course the game i went to.

Refs missed a few and a few bounces went the wrong way.

Very exciting action though!
 
Panthers in town today. Expect fast, tight game. Wings need to come out quick. Should be an excellent game. Wish I could be there. Liking Wings plus money here. Good value...at home and national TV...GL
 
Florida sure showed the Wings what it takes to be one of the best teams in hockey. Wings will get there eventually. Good tight game for the most part. Wings will learn from this. If they play Florida in the first round they'll get some good schooling. Plenty of hockey left. We'll see if Stevie Y is selling or buying. GL
 
Wings in a spiral. 7 game losing streak. WOW doesn't cover it. Disappointment for sure. Many questions. Playing Buffalo who is smoking hot right now. Wings taking Lyon out of net and playing Reimer. Doesn't matter. The Wings Defense is pathetic. Who to blame on this downward trajectory? GM for standing pat at trading deadline? Coach for watching the team flame out? Players for playing terrible after their Captain gets hurt and nobody steps up? Seems like there is dissension within the ranks. IMO Hoping they can turn it around quick. You know what they say about hoping. GL
