Can see KC feeling satisfied by going up 3-1 and knowing they have 2 home games left if they fail to clinch the series in G5. Not sold on Volquez @Toronto. I think it'll be a game where whoever gets off to the quick start, their opponent will likely mail it in (any listless performance by the loser will also naturally be a threat to the AL Over train).

i don't agree with the satisfied part nor the listless performance, but could see TOR pressing big time if they fall behind and that gets them out of character and perform on the way toward what you'd call listless. Either take a ton of pitches to try to get into hitter's counts or swing for the fences even more than they normally do

NO chance the Mets are favored. On a neutral field the Royals are favored, let alone at home. Home field is very, very big...don't underestimate it. My guess would be KC -140.

If its Mets vs TOR then TOR has the superior bats and Mets have the superior SP. Looks like a pretty evenly matched WS no matter what. Think I would make a wager on series going 6 or 7.

If the mets starters pitch like they have so far this postseason, i find it difficult to see them losing to either the jays or royals.

The mets ability to prepare and adapt to their opponent is surprisingly good. The lockerroom camraderie is great as well. WS experience is with the Royals so im hoping they BJs find a way to move on.

I see the vague point, if you think Toronto would beat the Mets but don't think the Royals would, and you think -130 is value today on the Jays, you take it knowing the bet would be canceled if the Toronto don't make it...and you'd have no action on the Royals at that point.

You would bet Toronto -130 vs the Mets PRIOR to the continuation of the Toronto/KC series....

If you think Toronto beats the NYM but you think the NYM would beat the Royals


This would give you the insurance if the Royals beat the Blue Jays in the ALCS, which would cancel your wager.

If you took Toronto to win the WS and the Royals win the ALCS, your ticket would be a loss.

Same goes for KC
