4-2 win to open the season-
For first period and a half seemed out of sorts, no chemistry (many new players)- down 2–0.
Turned it on late 2p and finished strong-
Very encouraging how they closed-
Kyler Matthews (a fan favorite) threw the gloves twice- newcomer Ryan Devine also was quick to mix things up-
Justin MacDonald came with the new coach from Watertown and is clearly the team leader, even after one game-
Should be a fun season….

Watched on hockeytv.com- a nice site for minor leagues…saw them beat Fayetteville at home last night but won’t make many road games-
Andrew Bellant with the hat trick - rejoined the IceBears after a short stint with the Indy Fuel in the ECHL- a Blackhawks affiliate @Teapot9
The real star was goalie Kristian Stead with 60 saves…
