I can’t bekueve cubs gonna lose this game on a run they handed Philly! Played Philly find a way to blow it, they still gotta get thru ticket, Suzuki and PCA before it over. It just doesn’t make sense to hand them a run when you know it be a pitchers duel!

Perez had an interesting line in his first start back.

3ip, 70 pitches, 4 hits..4 runs 2 bb, 5ks. Of 15 batters faced he had 10 first pitxh strikes. About 60% of pitches were strikes.

Hate those that had them vs pirates...but thats a pretty good showing. Now...it is against the pit batters. Give him about a month and he could have some good value.

He will prob get another limited start next series against wash. Could be a goot team total against there while he still gets his feet wet

Cubs going to extra innings. Still really pissed off cubs handed them that run! Not like this wasn’t gonna be a pitcher duel how you give a run away with a force out at home, Schwarber running, and a hard hit ground ball? He woulda been out by 5 steps! Just a nice easy throw home gets him easy and cubs just won game 2-1! Instead in extras.
