I can’t bekueve cubs gonna lose this game on a run they handed Philly! Played Philly find a way to blow it, they still gotta get thru ticket, Suzuki and PCA before it over. It just doesn’t make sense to hand them a run when you know it be a pitchers duel!
 
So glad rays yanked Baz early, 76 pitches and take him out so the pen can allow all the runners to score. Ugh
 
We at least they got out of it tied. New ball game In Boston. Hopefully Bello struggles soon he hasn’t been this deep in a minute
 
God damn. I’m all for replay but the Philly cat at 1st it was impossible to tell and they called him safe. Instead of just coming back saying it stands they look at it so long cubs pitcher throwing pitches to stay warm. If you can’t tell in a few looks call stands, cmon guys.
 
Sale with 11 k’s and probably has another inning in him. I thought he looked a little lessor than st beginning this year but not sure anyone been better than Sale the last 5-6 starts?
 
Perez had an interesting line in his first start back.

3ip, 70 pitches, 4 hits..4 runs 2 bb, 5ks. Of 15 batters faced he had 10 first pitxh strikes. About 60% of pitches were strikes.

Hate those that had them vs pirates...but thats a pretty good showing. Now...it is against the pit batters. Give him about a month and he could have some good value.

He will prob get another limited start next series against wash. Could be a goot team total against there while he still gets his feet wet
 
Cubs going to extra innings. Still really pissed off cubs handed them that run! Not like this wasn’t gonna be a pitcher duel how you give a run away with a force out at home, Schwarber running, and a hard hit ground ball? He woulda been out by 5 steps! Just a nice easy throw home gets him easy and cubs just won game 2-1! Instead in extras.

I figured if he just pitched 4 innings I’d hit his over k’s, didn’t think he get run after 3 innings and finishing one k short.
 
No way cubs can force a 11th inning. Fuck fuck fuck. All cause they gave a run away. I usually don’t get this emotional over a loss but when your team litterally hands over the game with a free run it stings like a bitch
 
Cubs made it to 11th but rays pen getting abused. wtf. All cause they took baz out to soon, god i hate that!!
 
Suzuki and PCA need to produce 2 runs in 11th to feel good bout winning this thing.

Omg Philly just got 2 straight bunt base hits!! Nobody ever bunts and these mfers doing it for hits. And they showing bunt so cubs 3rd baseman shoulda been playing way in. Just stupid. Cubs gave this game away
 
Fuck you cubs, gave this game away to a team that been struggling. Nothing helps a struggling team like free runs and 2 bunt hits when they were trying to just move runner over.
 
mlb network guy just reminded me how Cuba also had 2md run in 11th at 3rd one out and while Philly bunting guys around dansby does what he always does and strikes out! Why not make him bunt?
