Out #3 lazy popup... Ellis going back from 2nd on the run has it fairly easily, Puig comes racing at it, ball goes off his glove which is just above Ellis' glove...2 runs score on what shoulda no doubt been the 3rd out.

Agreed...but in this case Ellis clearly had the easier play imo and at the point Puig got into the picture Ellis was basically camped under it waiting for it to fall in his glove.

Didn't really matter anyway with Mariano coming...1-0 or 3-0, no difference.
