Froch V Groves 2

Fat Bloke
Honestly,I cant remember a fight getting so much attention here ever..maybe Bruno/Tyson?....Hagler/Minter would probably have but that was back when we had to talk to each other and if youd have told anyone wed be walking round with phones, theyd have put you in a mental home.Benn/Eubank maybe..2 British fighters.. but w/e,this fight is getting the full treatment.
Theres a two part build up programme (similar to the ones whenever Mayweather fights) , entertaining.I will post them up once someones uploaded them.

I'm on Groves +140 1u. I just think that if Groves fights similar to the first fight, with less carelessness, he can win this. He was clearly in position to win the first fight. I like his chances this time.

Deciding whether or not Vetyeka's worth a stab. He was a pretty big underdog when he stopped Chris John. Donaire might be a bad style match up for him, but I'm damn sure not laying the juice with Donaire.

We're on the same page with Vetyeka. I think he's a VERY live dog in this fight and we might still see some money come in on Donaire. Hard to tell where Donaire is mentally right now and if Vetyeka can drag him into a tough dog fight will he be able to dig deep or just shut down and fish for the left hook? Blowing off another camp with Garcia is a big minus for me as well.

me three in regards to donaire. i don't trust where he's at, i don't trust his camp. i don't know if i'm gonna get on vetyeka, but i sure as hell won't be on donaire. also been liking groves since their last fight. i'll take the plus money. +140 it is, for one.

The thing about Cotto is, he's gonna lose. :)

But for real, unless Sergio is just done, he'll beat Cotto. I honestly think Cotto's only chance is Sergio being well past it, or not fully over the injury.

Side note: If anyone missed the HBO 2 days with Provodnikov it is an absolute must watch. One of the best things HBO sports has ever done and by far the best entry of that program to date. Pretty much impossible not to be a fan of Ruslan's after watching it. Plus, you can see Turkas going bat shit for Provod at the weigh in in the background when he's walking up to the podium.

Here's a shortened version HBO put up on youtbe it was almost a 30 minute episode. Turkas @ 3:23 mark behind the black dude with the flat top:

The REAL question is: Who out there will actually pay for this shit show of a pay-per-view excluding the main event? Arguably the worst under card in the history of PPV's

I watched this the other day. Absolutely awesome. Provodnikov yelling for his mom after the fight gave me chills.

Groves has decent value, but I don't think he will be nearly as successful as last time. I just get the feeling that Froch took him easily last fight and didn't expect Groves to be as competitive. This time around Froch will be ready and I think he puts on a nice showing.

As for Vetyeka, I think he is totally worth a play. Donaire has been a mess lately and without Garcia in his camp who knows what we will see. Well worth the risk to me.

"Who ate all the pies! Who ate all the pies!" lol I am a loud ass. :announce:

Groves up to +155 on 5dimes reduced which I think is pretty close to the correct price. Deep down I think Froch comes out 100% focused this time and dominates. He's the better fighter who's fought the best under this kind of massive pressure before. He's not looking past Groves this go around.

Wembley should be an absolute madhouse today. Can't wait to see Froch come in to GnR.

This ring is small as hell, major advantage for Froch. Makes sense too, I am sure Froch did everything he could to get every advantage tonight.

Really thinking about watching a stream of the skybox office coverage instead of HBO. Paulie is calling it and I am sure they will be going bonkers during the fight unlike the HBO crew calling it from a studio in America.

I beter see you fuckers on here in an hour, I can't go another weekend talking boxing to myself!

Seems incredibly far fetched that Chris John would ever have been considered the 126 lb lineal title holder like Kellerman claims. Believe that title has been vacant since Pacman moved up.

He should have stopped it before the end of the 4th so it would be a NC. I think like usual Pabon fucked up another fight.

Steve Kim says he thought the initial cut was cause by a punch. That would be very interesting if true.
