VERY tempted to bop "The Magnificent Predlies" @ Calgary BUT their one loss this season is vs the Flames @ Nashville 0-3 with this same "Der Pekker" vs "Der Schmied" goalie matchup

Cats at Caps should be a goal fest BUT everyone thought THAT last night with Penguins @ Maple Leafs and look what happened. SHOULD be a fun game to watch :)
 
well THIS is the Cats "fill the net" team I expected pre-season. 4-1 @ Capitals end of 1st period with SOG's 11-5 Cats. goals from Trocheck, Dadonov (PP), Secvior and McCann. Carlson for Caps. In Game Capitals +525 :)
 
AND Brett Connolly for Capitals GOAL makes it 4-2 Cats 2 minutes into the 2nd. In Game now +300 Capitals AND Capitals PP coming 4 minutes into 2nd
 
Capitals ALL OVER the Cats in the 2nd JUST MISSED on a couple more chances. 2nd period SOG's 6-0 Caps so far 8 minutes into the period
 
Hokey Smoke!!! shot save rebound GOAL makes it TIED 4-4 with 6:45 to GO and Reimer chased for Mike Hutchinson in goal. In Game now Cats +110 Capitals -140. IF you only KNEW!!!
 
OK!!! Jonathan Huberdeau with 50 seconds to GO on a 5 on 3 PP makes it 5-4 Cats end of 2nd with SOG's 16-8 Capitals AND with 8 seconds to GO a Caps "unsportsmanlike" penalty (running his mouth at the ref) on the faceoff puts the Cats back on a 5 on 3 to start the 3rd :)

sure NOT much action the other two games. Stars up 1-0 on Wild half way thru the 3rd period in Dallas and Predators @ Flames TIED 1-1 early 2nd period in Calgary :confused:
 
OK!!! 2-1 Predators middle of 2nd in Calgary AND the "Angry Beavers" come back in Dallas 2-1 with 5 minutes to GO in the game :)
 
Oh DAMN!!! TIED AGAIN 3-3 in Calgary 6 minutes into the 3rd. "Der Pekker" NOT very SHARP tonight with just 14 saves and NOW pulled for Juuse Saros :mad:
