Friday lets keep this going Discussion

GWarner27

Meatballin' in Celtics Stadium
played PHI +150, just missed 152 (aka my flat betting method keeps screwing me)

Leans from BOL open:
ATL o8
BAL o9
KC -109/u8.5

on the radar:
PIT u7.5
COL +116/o10.5
TB -136
CLE +156/u8.5
MIN -128/u7.5

...really hope lance Lynn isn't being skipped???

liking that minny under as well...Milone should get hit around at camden...maybe the under in the Anaheim

Milone has never pitched at Baltimore. Good luck kid. I really do not like taking teams in their first game back off a long road trip and the orioles are playing Thursday NIGHT in Texas while the A's will probably be in Baltimore before the O's game even gets started tonight.

road/over correlation sounds nice for my over lean

overnight leans:
ATL o8
BAL o9
KC -112
CLE +165
COL +124/o10
PIT u7.5

on the radar:
MIN -118/u7.5 (would like to play Hughes but need it to drop)
KC u8.5

Chris Young is not a great road pitcher. Seattle is 7-1 with a day off. 6-2 on the road vs lefties
Bedard likes 5 days rest. On 4 he has a 4.81 ERA. Some of the time he is good at home. Seattle is not happy with Tampa. I think I like that and bet Seattle.

Washington ML, Braves ML, Baltimore Over is what i'm locking in tonight

considering a cws ml play....dont' think weaver is fooling those bats tmrw night

gsro, you like Roark at even money after he already dominated the Padres before?

yep..padres bats @ home don't do as well...believe headley left the game after being HBP but he should be good to go, probably precautionary..but I'll take the better team @ even...did you expect the line to be higher? I think your question answers itself

Gonna wait on an umpire to make sure Chen and Milone aren't gonna have an easy time of it. Weather is heating up, two good offenses

Weaver isn't what he used to be, man there are a ton of absolutely AWFUL contract timings out there, but CHW doesn't really have bats unless they're gracing LF with Dunn again so they can go Abreu/Dunn/Pauly

nope velocity is down and early in the season weaver was fooling hitters but if they just wait him out that 2 seamer cuts into the middle of the plate and the likes of even the CWS hitters can make contact

look @ what oakland..not saying cws and oakland are even anywhere near the same level but A's were patient and tagged him...angels pen sucks too and their first game back from a roadie I believe

GWarner I love that over play, Chen and Milone are gas cans..

Chen 3-0 vs. Oakland with a .44 ERA in 3 career starts...
holy smokes...where the fuck have you been?

I dont think Chen, currently, is what he has been thus far in his career..just in a rut he needs to get out..but this A's team and their bats in that small ball park is a scary thought

The O/U is 8-14-1 at Camden this season and it currently ranks 29th out of 30 in easiest parks to score runs in (0.788 park factor).

The O/U at Camden yards is the worst in the MLB for overs this season at 8-14-1 (.364). The next worst is Citi Field at 10-17-3 (.370).

nice stat austin, something to add to the o's game is that because of tillman's bad start they went through 6 pitchers yesterday...if chen gets off to a shaky start..

i also think that those numbers will rise once it's consistently warmer out as well...first couple of months were cold ones in Baltimore

In darvish's last 24 starts if you bet his opponents team total under you would have only lost 3 times. 18 or so wins and some pushes

Chado @chadnov59 · 8h

Rangers are 8-2 in darvish's 10 starts only 2 losses, offense scored total of ZERO runs. Opponents team total under is 9-1 in his 10 starts

Chado @chadnov59 · 8h

He's gone at least 7IP in 8/10 and has one of the best bullpens in the NL(numbers wise) nats also have better pen... Like pads and under

Chado @chadnov59 · 9h

Amazed by these numbers going back to last year when he became starter... L/10 home starts: 1.66 ERA: 65.1IP, 44hits, 12ER, 71K's, 18BB's
View conversation

Chado @chadnov59 · 9h

Nats are coming off strong 3 game sweep and 5-1 home stand..Now travel where they are 3-10 their last 13 road games scores 3 or less in 9/13

Chado @chadnov59 · 9h

Tyson Ross last 5 home games: Padres 4-1 and he went at least 7IP in each start. 1.00 ERA: 36IP, 24 hits, 4ER, 37K's, 8BB's

Chado @chadnov59 · 9h

Pretty funny I think this Astros-twins matchup is one of those most intriguing matchups of the day.

Chado @chadnov59 · 9h

Keuchel and Hughes last 95 Innings combined in the first 5 innings of the game. 83/95 scoreless innings and COMBINED era of 1.99Era

Chado @chadnov59 · 9h

Keuchel is 6-1-3 for 1st 5 ML in his last 10 starts.... Him and Hughes both very good in early innings... Gotta like first 5 under

Chado @chadnov59 · 9h

Other side u got Keuchel who has been great.. Given up 3er Or less in 9/11 And a 1.5era over his last 5 starts.

Chado @chadnov59 · 9h

Phil Hughes during that 9 game stretch. 5-1-3 on the ML for first 5. And 6-3 to the under for first 5

Chado @chadnov59 · 9h

Phil Hughes= last 9 starts. In his 1st 5 innings of his last 9 starts:45Ip,only 8ER (1.6era)allowed and 40/45 scoreless innings

Chado @chadnov59 · 9h

Will the Phil Hughes money train roll on? Last 8 starts: Twins are 8-0+10.88 (dog in 7/8) Hughes:54IP,50hits,12ER, 2.00era, 3BB,39K's

Those are tiny samples. What teams did he face and in what parks did they play?

nice stat austin, something to add to the o's game is that because of tillman's bad start they went through 6 pitchers yesterday...if chen gets off to a shaky start..

The O's are 4-3 SU and 6-1 to the over this season after using six or more pitchers in the previous game. The under hit when Ubaldo pitched 7.1 innings of scoreless ball against the Twins on May 2. Opposing teams averaged over 6 runs per game in those other six games.

If you think this a tiny sample ignore it. I do not. I think that SF might be had today. First game back after a 7 game road trip that ended in major payback to Reds. Night game and Cain has had bad luck vs Mets but I will only consider it with the right catcher. 7-2 day for SF and Cain is good on 6 plus

5 or 6 games is certainly a tiny sample size, no way to say otherwise.

However, in considering the situations this outings were, gives us a better perspective on it: (rank vs. lefties)

Gsro - new job so haven't had the time to post on a daily basis. Still doing my thing.

GW - looked it up and 2 of Chen's 3 starts vs Oak were in Balt.

Small sample size I know but I like the pens and see this staying under.

Looking at scoresandodds...Are there really no nationally televised games on tonight? More proof baseball sucks, if so.

Good health, I think he's not fooling anyone anymore but a good start would be very good for a fantasy team of mine
