P, just to understand the scoring, are you deducting the $2 on the wins? If not my strategy changes.

I had two losses and was -$4.00, then won a race that paid $6.00. Which is +$4.00. I should be even. I haven't looked at how you are scoring anyone else.... but it would make favorite betting stronger if we aren't deducting the $2 investment on wins.

I don't care, just want to know so I can adapt

VK has a point. He's wagered $6 and his winning bet paid $6. Net of zero.

But since all bets are the same amount, and it's exactly one a day, why not just note the number of correct picks and total $ won?

So I'd be 0/3, $0
VK would be 1/3, $6 won
Rex would be 0/3 (3 missed picks), $0

And so on. This would also give an indication of what size winners people are getting.
