February Pucks

Last 10 Rangers vs. Islanders, Rangers have averaged 3.9 goals per game. 6 of those were Rangers home games where they averaged 4.67 goals per game. Islanders are giving up 3.58 goals per game and 3.67 per game on the road. Rangers tt o3 1.05/1. Also likely -1.5 +165 (not sure if there is enough value for me) leaning over 5.5 total as well

4 in 6 for Carolina, I'm most likely on Toronto. Leaning over as well, there will be shots on net.

Washington and Montrael slight leans, not a lot of time for writeup. Over in TB will be a big play. Under in Nashville will be a play

Good luck everyone, will post final card when I get it narrowed down

for everything I ike, there are things I dont like tonight... want to see how Toronto plays wihtout Frattin,

agree with the thoughts. GL

Bos@Buf. How many times can I fade Buffalo? Boston clearly outplayed Buffalo last matchup, but needed empty netter to secure the puckline as Miller stood on his head. I'm leery of going to the well too many times and expecting 2 straight wins in a short amount of time on the road vs. same team. I'm actually considering Boston team total over as buffalo has been real inconsistent on defense and face a ton of shots.

Phi@NJ. Overachiever vs. Underachiever. Poor away team vs. good home team. NJ won last matchup 3-0 but were only roughly -110 at home. Now they are 30 cents higher. Not sure what to think in this one.

Pit@Win Pit puckline or nothing. Revenge angle.

Ana@Det. I really think Anaheim is a better team. This isnt an ideal spot for me to back a road team, but being the dog may entice me.

SJ@Chi. No feeling on this game.

Stl@Cal. Stl seemed to get it back together midway through the Det game. This is a game of shitty goaltenders. Possibly an over play. Tough for me to back a road team with crap goalie, but I lean that way.

Dal@Van. 3 games in 4 for Dallas at a Vancouver team with 2 games off and another off game after tonight. Name the score for Vancouver, probably on the puck line.

Columbus@LA. LA is a team I'm looking to back soon. Col gets outshot by 6 shots per game and LA outshoots opponents by a lot. LA has had horrible luck in the early season. LA close to the bottom in PDO. I like them on the puck line.

Pitt has won 10 out of 14 first periods on the year. Overall they average 1.07 goals for and 0.36 goals against. WInninpeg has lost 5 out of 12 and average 0.58 goals while giving up 1.17. Winnipeg also has some goaltender issues they may struggle with tonight.

Not enough value on Anaheim.

Pitt -1.5 1/1.95
Pitts 1P -0.5 1/1.6
Blues -1.5 1/2.45
Blues o2.5 1.4/1
LA -1.5 (waiting on number)

My primary fade list right now is Anaheim, Toronto, TB (mainly road), Nashville.
My primary back list right now is LA, NYI, St Louis, Florida

Backup goalie in NJ got me off the under (as well as the 5). NJ -1.5 +150 is a bet I'm probably going to make. I don't usually base bet on backup, but Anderson is so good that it's a rare time where I get off bet. Bishop stonewalled Winnipeg, but got lit up vs. TB. He faced NJ last year and lost 1-0. Without Spazza and Karlson, I waited till 2nd game after injury to fade.

Phi@NYI. Yes, I am like everyone and expect Philly to get on track. And they are probably a superior team. But, they gotta show me. THey are 2-8 on the road and its hard for me to think they are looking ahead, but they do have PIt on deck. 3 in 4 for Philly. NYI PL and over.

Nash@Col. Talk about a brutal stretch:

2/7 LA
2/9 @Min
2/10 Chi
2/12 SJ
2/14 Pho
2/16 Ana
2/18 @Col
2/19 Det

nashville is getting outshoted by 5 shots per game. (7 on the road). Schedule wise, this seems to be a tough game for Nashville to get up for. Col has neutral as far as PDO while Nashville has been a bit lucky. Plus odds for Colorado, I gotta jump on them.

Been looking at this card waaaay too much. Hoping to narrow down, but I just cant do it. The one play I'm passing on is Columbus and I think it's a great spot, but just can't back them.

NJ -1.5 1/1.45. Hate the number and missed any value, but I just can't see them doing anything but dominating the game. They are playing too well at home.
NYI -1.5 1/2.4. Yeah, if Philly finally turns it around, I look like a fool. And based on the history between these 2, I probably am a fool. But, I like how NY is playing and Philly has been shit. This isn't a good spot for Philly either.
Pho -1.5 1/1.75. Calgary on a btb after a comeback win in Dallas. Im just not a fan of the Flames.

Philly/NYI o5.5 1.25/1. Hoping to see NY continue to play well on offense. Both these teams have been giving up a lot of shots, but NY has been converting their shots. Tavaras has been on a tear after the losing streak. I see like a 5-2 Islanders win!

NJ/Pho 1/1.32. Feel like decent odds for a 2 teamer.

Col 1/1.05. Seems like everyone thinks Nashville is a no brainer here. I pointed out a brutal stretch for them. Backup goalie too on the road...short line...This just tells me Colorado.

Florida 1.1/1. They've been playing well and just fading down the stretch. Offense has played fairly well in stretches. Toronto gives up a lot of shots and with the backup, I don't expect them to stop them all, which also brings me to:

Fla/Tor o5.5 1/1.05

Car 1/1.05 and over 5.5. Really like how Carolina has been playing and you know they will be a lot of pucks on the net. Another backup goalie for Montreal. Car has played well on the road, are on rest, and have caught fire (hope the break doesn't slow that down)

Pho/Cal o5.5 1/1.05. Auto betting overs for Calgary right now. Until it burns me.

Didn't see the game but watched the highlights. Some sweet goals, but probably means my salami under is toast.

Anyone have thoughts on Nashville? Feel like they are the better team and interested in backing them, but they looked like they didn't have the legs last night after the brutal stretch they've been on. Then again, once they brought the starting goalie back on, they were by far the better team than Colorado. I felt lucky winning with Colorado.

Interested in TB team total over. Toronto has been hot, but they have been facing a lot of shots. S ome of these shots are bound to go in at some point. TB may just be the team to do it. THough, if it's o2.5 -150 I'll probably lay off. Possibly TB side, teams don't go thru the Florida trip easily.

Kinda lean toward Ottawa. They surprisingly played well. Then again, NY is off a 7-0 showing and will be fired up.

PRobably gonna be on LA. The pucks have to start finding the net though.

Like Nashville, even when Detroit was running through the central they had a tough time in Nashville. yesterday had to be a bitter pill to swallow for the Preds, but they seem to be playing well.

On the Leafs themselves. Scrivens is playing lights out and with a GAA under 2. FLA is always a tough trip to run through, but IMO the Leafs have this road style that can play a game that works vs TB who are 1-6 L7.

GL Dollaz

Agree that Fla trip is tough, but Tor playing much better hockey than TB right now. I may not back TB until Malone comes back.

Colorado is so bad. Extremely lucky to win vs. Nashville in a terrible spot for Nash. But, what does St Lou have tonight. I'm not worried about the first night after the flight troubles/getting in late...I'm more concerned with the 2nd night after. I cant back Colorado right now, but I'm leaning on the game over or possibly one of the team totals. There should be some goals, Colorado has some exciting youngsters.

No clue on Pit yet with that line that high.

LA/Calgary. LA is on the back list and Calgary is on the fade list. LA on a back to back, but both are 3 in 4. Probably riding LA for the next few games.

gotta believe the Blues come out slow tonite come out slow tonight playing three straight road games, got stuck in Vancouver, are playing in a back to back on the road, and haven't had much success against the Col. The Avs are coming off a big 6-5 win against Nashville on Monday, and are 2-1 over their last three games. In those games they've scored 14 goals. While I agree that they dont look very good on the ice, just to much against the Blue to make a play so went with the small dog at home.
Played Flyers/Penns Over 5.5 The OVER is 5-1-1 in their last 7 meetings in Pittsburgh. The OVER is 20-8-1 in the Penguins last 29 home games and 35-15-2 in their last 52 overall. Both team are scoring well their last few games

no thoughts on the Kings/Flames but lean Under 5.5

GL

Lean LA as well. Wish StL was playing someone other tha Col as would live to fade them. Elevation could play a factor as well. Agree Pens lined too high. Phi or over for me.

Got 3 I'm leaning at. Pitt tt o3. I don't see the love for Florida. They caught Philly in a terrible spot. Not have to play a better team in Pitts. I guess line value play?

Chicago. I hate to bet on a team to win 3 straight vs. another team, and certainly not against a good team. But, Chicago has looked far superior than SJ in those 2 meetings. They just have superior speed.

Nashville. Vancouver hasn't been playing well, imo. Nashville at home, they don't give up many goals. Kinda have to play them at short or + money.

Lean the same way on all 3. Prob playing Home teams prop rather than individual games

Semi hedge. Took TB +2.5 -130 at end if 2nd period. Theability to win bot (pit by 2) sold me.
