There's plenty of intrigue here in the last two weeks of the regular season!
Seeding will be the biggest storyline, and avoiding play-in tournament.
I'd say the East is set for the 10 teams and the West has 11 total in play for now.
The intrigue out in the West involves Minnesota and LA Clippers...
Those two teams sit at 7/8 right now -- not ideal. One, you do not want to have your season perhaps come down to the play-in. More than that, you would like to avoid OKC in the first round.
The Lakers will try and hold onto the 4th seed.
Honestly, seeds 3-8 could shuffle quite a bit.
The Cavs are 4 up on the Celtics for the HCA in the East.
Detroit a few games back on the 4 seed and a few up on the 6 seed.
The play-in teams are pretty much set in the East.
I'll be tracking to see a few things...
1. How Memphis looks after this coaching change
2. Injuries to star players
3. The ole 'momentum' for the post-season
I'll be tracking the Clippers. I have that live RSW of over 47.5 at stake. I need 5-2 to finish the season. I feel optimistic. Why? They play one game vs a true playoff team. Two are against a fading Dallas squad. Also, they want out of that play-in I'd assume. I also like what Spek had to say last week and tailed with a future on them,
More playoff thoughts from me in about 10 days, although I really think this is down to 3 teams right now. Although, anything can happen in the West.
