End of the regular season discussion thread...

Pretty shitty card Monday. Wiz/hawks would have been nice but without Beal, as good as russ is, think hawks have too much firepower.

Utah/Gsw best of the bunch. If Conley and Mitchell are out I think Warriors get that one

NOP put everything into that come back last night. Charlotte is all perimeter. Memphis is big and I don’t think NOP has anyone with Adams and Zion out to rebound and play inside.

last time out Pels beat the Grizz at home by 10. Adams had a +23, Gomez a -14.

Liking Houston 1H TT over 53.5.....Houston been scoring lately too.......NYK went over this number yesterday too after that slow 1Q start.....Houston average 62 points in 1H last 4 games......

Late thoughts.

That ending to the Blazers at Suns game was suspect.

No game of importance or any game for that matter should end on a ticky-tack foul.

And then to make it even more annoying, Stotts pointlessly challenged it and burned his final timeout so he couldn't advance the ball for a potential game-winning shot.

Take a bow, Terry. Longest surviving muppet coach in the league.

Really want the Bucks matchup. That’s a 5 ATS series with Knicks covering and maybe winning game 3. Nothing else would be close. They barely beat the Bucks 8-12 guys a month ago. Today they trail shooting 11% better with only 6 turnovers. No margin for error when you have lottery talent who was overworked and beaten like a claiming horse all season.

Never in doubt. OT killers they are.

wouldn’t mind Heat match up either. Hawks Knicks series would actually be hard to predict.

They also blew out the bucks earlier in the year and that game you speak of were up big like today and let up but a W is a W

Unbelievable - but make no mistake - this roster is awful with no help in sight. Bad play.
It’ll be better next year when they dump Payton and have a legit pg w quickley/rose off the bench, and hopefully a healthy Mitch, and maybe one more piece, wouldn’t be mad if Dame found his way here

I’m pretty much way out of the loop with nba this season but I’m dying to blow some house money from other sports on some decent futures, I think East Nets and Sixers are probably most likely but do Hawks have any chance or value?or get real crazy Wiz win east??? West seams like total crap shoot I think I know the contenders but nothing will surprise me with West outcome but does Portland have a little shot at big price?

NBA outside of the bubble is no place for cinderella stories for more than a round.

I don't see anyone beating the Nets and 6ers are too flawed (Ben's shooting and best player being a center).

@B.A.R. is way better at betting value early on and looking to hedge as they move on each round so he'll have some better insight than me.

Hawks have ZERO chance of advancing past Miami and would be slightly dogged per myself vs NY b

Big win by mucks over the Jimmy-less heat. Knicks clinch 4 seed by beating Boston tomorrow
Pacers beat Raps they lock into 9? other wise they have to play boston right? I think they hold the tie breaker over wash. Don't know who the raps are putting out there, but Lowry is rumored to be out

Raps won’t play anyone. Lowry, siacam, Freddy and maybe OG all sit. Only notable who prob plays is Trent, but they only lost to mavs by a bucket or two w that squad. Not sure of pacers are locked in yet they might be bc they sat levert and holiday the other night so could already Ha down secured 9th

Celts are locked in at 7. They sat Kemba and smart vs the wolves and Tatum only played 27 minutes. Wonder if any of them play vs Knicks. Can’t afford another injury if I’m them and game means nothing to you and not sure they care enough as to whether Knicks are 4, 5, or 6.

Curious to see what Knicks do at pg moving fwd. Payton has literally given them nothing the last 2-3 weeks but Thibs likes his d, which they need on Trey. The logical solution is start Rose and give backup minutes split between Burks (who has been hot) and Payton, but I know they don’t want to over extend Rose minutes w all these games being so close together.

Knicks obviously want the Hawks and need this game. Celtics waving the white flag. 11 feels like a lot but Knicks don’t have an awful 8-12 to give up a big lead. They’ve rarely been in this spot and I think did well when favored big vs ranking/quit teams.

Nets will walk over Celtics/Bobcats in 4 or 5 and get more rest after this next week off. I think they’ll be fine.

Mitchell Robinson ...dam what a squad of he gets healthy
Really wondering if he can get ready in any capacity for the playoffs. He hasn’t gone thru contact yet but even if he can give them 8-10 min would be huge. Building a nice young core with Randle (still only 26 I believe), RJ, Mitch, quickley, hopefully toppin becomes something

Yeah I saw 8.5 and it’s climbed. Celts can’t afford another injury with brown already gone and Kemba has been gimpy all year. They have nothing to gain by playing their guys. Knicks should run and hide and I’d expect Ntilikina, Knox, pelle, etc get decent run in the 4th q

Spurs playing most of their guys and Suns playing a g league roster. Spurs lost by 40 yesterday. Big play

Spurs all rested, off a 40 point loss, playing their .500 talented roster.

Suns playing only Bridges and I assume his minutes will be limited.

If the Knicks win and get the 4th seed......Atlanta will be the 5th seed.....

Houston had been putting up points lately.....I liked their TT over 112, especially if Atlanta sitting out their starters......
