*Lierse has drawn with Anderlecht twice this calendar year, but let's keep things in perspective: the scoreless draw on Feb 26 was Anderlecht's fifth game in less than two weeks, and the 1-1 draw on Sept. 15 was 4 days before Anderlecht's Champions League opener against AC Milan (and, from what I remember my friend Ganda saying over at that 'other' place, they pretty much sat everyone that game). Meanwhile, Lierse has gotten thumped to the tune of 6-0 and 4-0 it's last two times as the visitor to Anderlecht, and have lost four of their last five on the road this season by three goals or more. It might end a push (which is the most probable scenario), but I'd be pretty surprised if Anderlecht don't win this one by a comfortable margin.

Not sure anyone would have been thinking that back in July and August when I first signed up here at CTG (for those who remember) and, to be honest, not sure anyone should be thinking that now anyways (that 'distinction' sort of falls upon me by default *tumbleweeds* but it is what it is).

2012: Easily my most profitable year in soccer EVER (Covers: around -5.00, CTG pre-crash: around +38.00, CTG post-crash: +15.29). Will it continue? I doubt it (stuff like July and August don't just happen), but as long as I manage to linger around the break even point, that's all that really matters in the end.
