I'm sure its just an anomaly and Smoke is still setting the lineup.

Not sure why he quit, his team had the makings to compete for a playoff spot.

Been a GREAT league otherwise.

Thought I had it locked up when I picked up Varejao lol. He would have been back and up to speed by the playoffs...oh well. Should have picked up Bogut for him and kept him away from Smoke but he just said he was weeks away.

Do agree with the earlier suggestion that next year waivers shouldn't be continuous so everyone has a chance at free agents.
 
lol what happened was I literally forgot about this league after I lost the first few weeks. Wish someone sent me a PM to remind me so I could set the line up to at least make it fair

not saying thats anyone's responsibility or anything, I just really forgot
 
not really, why else would I have stopped setting my line up after a couple weeks. Couldn't tell you a single player on my team other then David Lee. Didn't realize this 50 dollar CTG league was such serious business

I'm over it, Smoke's leagues might be a little too intense for me and his fantasy ethics

I'm on here everyday ffs, anyone could have said anything to me at anytime and I would have been like "oh", if it was that important to you

Epic battle for the Title, and I'm worried as I have a history of losing fantasy titles not just on the last day, but even the last minutes of the last game.

3 times I have lost a title last minute, and this is in damn season long roto. Gary Payton in 98 went for 27, and his last 3 pushed my opponent over me in points and a tie in 3's, costing me 1.5 points and a title.

Year before Ray Allen got a steal, got fouled, and hit both free throws to cost me a title. Vince Carter screwed me over one year as well.

So my question is, which guy on Gorg's team is gonna fuck me this year ?

I'm not sure why I'm even in this thread as I don't play fantasy basketball and watch about 15 minutes of NBA per year spread over about 60 accidental sightings ... but AK's bad fantasy beats remind me of my worst ever, 2001 in a fairly big money fantasy baseball league. That was the 9/11 year, where they broke off the games for a stretch. I had a dominant team and a seemingly insurmountable lead, roto style, not HTH. I'm telling you, my team totally lost it's mo after the hiatus. League not only went down to the last day, but the last freaking game of all teams' 162 games. This was when the internet was slow and painful. It was the A's against somebody. I had Eric Chavez and Jason Isringhausen, and I needed a save, not a bomb, to win the league. Chavez hit a late bomb to extend the A's lead over three runs. Lost by half-a-point.

Poop u shit the bed. If you had set by our lineup Monday you would have finished 3rd and in the money. As is, you lose by a single missed shot.

As tight as that was, the race for 1st was even tighter. Gorg and I tied 4-4 w/ a tie in 3's, but due to the tiebreaker...

I WIN.

Nobody fucked me over this year lol.

i f'ed up AGAIN.

I didnt realize the bulls game started and picked up belinelli. Meyers Leonard may not have dont much but going 1 for 2 from the field may have very well won me 3rd despite not setting up my lineup on Monday.


i realize smoke may have played things differently if I were up though so who knows what would have happened.

Hell even Inspekdah and Galtie tied for 9th place, with Galtie winning on the tiebreaker.

This league always finish so tight ?
