CTG 4 2QB League 2014

[h=3]Draft Summary[/h]Sometimes in life we make mistakes. Chuck Norris will hopefully use this giant mistake of a draft as a learning opportunity, so in future drafts they will perform much better. After selecting sixth overall, they are projected to go 4-10-0 (2,398 points) and finish eighth in CTG League Four 2 qbs League. They addressed the QB position early, using their first two picks on QBs Andrew Luck (6th overall) and Jay Cutler (15th). They have the top group of WRs in the league, as they have Demaryius Thomas, Vincent Jackson, Pierre Garcon, and Michael Floyd on their team.

Picking seventh overall, T-dot is projected to land in ninth place in CTG League Four 2 qbs League with a record of 4-10-0 (2,208 points). They loaded up on ball carriers early, using three of their first five picks to scoop up RBs LeSean McCoy (first round), Adrian Peterson (second round), and Doug Martin (fourth round). T-dot will rely heavily on this group, as they are the best group of RBs in the league.
Brutal draft. Still, you should nominate yourself for the Toyota Hall Of Fame. That way, your players will have to live up to the pressure.

Led by a Stellar WR Corps, Breesus Saves Is Poised to Dominate

Draft Summary
Ahh, the feeling of victory. While Breesus Saves shouldn't start popping bottles just yet, a self-pat on the back is definitely warranted. After landing the first pick in the draft they built a roster that is projected to finish first in CTG League Four 2 qbs League with a record of 11-3-0 (2,596 points). They addressed their need for signal-callers immediately, using their first two selections to acquire QBs Peyton Manning (1st overall) and Philip Rivers (20th). They landed the best group of WRs in the league, as they have Calvin Johnson, Alshon Jeffery, and Randall Cobb on the roster.

With a draft like that, you might as well make it official. Nominate yourself for the Toyota Hall Of Fame.

Schedule
Week 11 might require some artful managing from Breesus Saves. They have five players and the most projected fantasy points on bye that week. Looking at the season as a whole, they have the least difficult schedule. In addition to having the easiest overall schedule, Breesus Saves also has the second-softest last four games of the season.

10 bucks. no fault but mine, just would be cool if it padded the pot instead of going to LS.

can't pay at work but i'll do so tonight

Hate my squad.. will brees ever figure out how to play on road? And I dont want to ever draft a patriot again

Brutal loss for me this week, outscoring every other team in the league, except my opponent.

This is the reason that in our leagues (all sports), we have adopted the 2 win system for each week. You play head to head and get a win or loss as usual, but then if you're in the top half of the league, scoring wise, that week, you get a win...and if you're in the bottom half, you get a loss. So you can go 2-0, 1-1, or 0-2. It's something we came up with a few years ago, because it often came down to luck of your opponent in a given week, and the goal should be to find out who has the best team at the end of the year, not who got lucky with the scheduling.

I like this idea. Are you able to implement the scoring system using a traditional site, such as ESPN or Yahoo!? How has it worked for you guys so far? Played Roto Football one season and it wasn't the same feeling as a H2H league, but I agree with everything you outlined above.

You just keep track of the extra win/loss on your own and put the real standings on your league's homepage. I'm pretty sure the commissioner has the control to set the playoff matchups, if there was a team that should or shouldn't be in based on the real standings. It's worked well for us in baseball and hockey. We just started it this year in football, but we went back and "retro graded" from last year, and it would have only made a difference for 2 teams..one team would have been out that was in, and then one in that was out.

If anything, doing it this way means that people can't whine too much about the schedule as they have a chance to get wins even when they lose the H2H matchup that week. Of course, there may be outliers, where a team faces the highest scoring team each week and they won't make the playoffs even with the extra wins...but that's gonna happen.

It's kind of a neat idea but why even play H2H? Just do a roto league that tallies total stats.

The guys in our leagues were against roto leagues, so we tried to incorporate both H2H and Roto to appease everyone. I agree with you, but we put any ideas up for a vote.

you should see my rbs now in my 14 teamer. ellington and fred jax. next best is lance dunbar. i lose. also have rg3 and jordan cameron. its week 3 and i feel like i already have no chance

Tide....I'll hit you up next Thursday if you're going to the bar. I'm on the party bus headed to Manhattan for the Auburn game tonight.

Just horrible, as bad a start as you'll see. I have more players out than actually healthy.

Two things..
1) jeff Fisher is a fucking asshole.. I wasted a pickup on Shaun hill. Now im fucked..

2) whats everyone thinking about that trade proposal?

I hate my team. Somehow gonna get a W this week. At least Montee Ball is out for the year so I can stop wasting a spot on him every week.

I hate my team as we'll... And Ty Hilton can suck it.. Fuckwad..

Not that it matters cuz I only have one qb this week and he sucks to boot

I need to make trade...matt ryan and brandon marshall....want rb or stud receiver...we can add more pieces. Send me all deals and all deals will be considered
