Yeah I’d can him and promote Brady. And if I’m one of these other teams. Like Chicago. I’m considering Brady.

Liam Coen is number one on my list of realistic candidates even if that means hiring the cap guy from Tampa as the GM.

My list looks like this not including Ben Johnson who would be number one and not even attempting to interview him is idiotic.

Liam Coen
Todd Monken
Joe Brady
Dan Pitcher Cincy
Any other top OCs that I can't think of

I would also be more than willing to trade a first round pick for Kyle Shanahan, Kevin O'Connell and the one non offensive coach I would be happy with John Harbaugh.

John Harbaugh is the only non offensive coach I would be happy with.

There are plenty of good young offensive coaches starting with Liam Coen. Nagy and Smith shouldn't even receive interviews much less get hired but of course the Jets are interviewing both.

Sure some of it is Johnson but you forget he didn't have Johnson his first year and did well. Goff needs a good oline and the time to throw just like about every other QB in the league not named mahomes, Allen and Lamar.

Goff is good. Get used to it. The guy in waiting if he doesn't follow Ben, Tanner Engstrand is just as highly touted.
 
The Jets are interviewing everyone other than Ben Johnson and Liam Coen (hope to be wrong on that one) and its disgusting seeing some of these names. Johnson I'm sure would reject the interview but how do you not even make an attempt.
 
Nothing against Aaron Glenn but the Jets cannot hire yet another DC as head coach. Go get someone like Liam Coen or Todd Monken and if it fails so be it but the days of hiring first time defensive coaches must end.
 
I'm sure the Patriots interviewing Pep Hamilton has nothing to do with meeting the Rooney rule. At least try to fake it a little better before giving the job to Vrabel.

Read it was mutual between Johnson and Jets. They aren't a fit. Not what he's looking for. Wants a team with younger QB and better front office.

I didn't want Glenn or any defensive coaches to begin with but with Parcells pushing him I'm even more against it. That Parcells is still doing damage to the Jets all these years later is infuriating. As if its not bad enough that he told Peyton Manning to go back to school instead of drafting him which no one mentions now pushing Glenn on Woody is beyond infuriating.

If you are connected in any way to Parcells you are automatically eliminated. Just give me an up and coming offensive coach for once. Sorry but if Aaron Glenn is the guy you may as well have kept Saleh to keep losing.

Deeply concerned McDermott either chokes this Sunday or next. I trust Casey Anthony to babysit my children more than I do Sean McDermott to win a close game with under 5 minutes remaining....

I'll never forget my then 10-year-old screaming squib kick, squib kick, squib kick when mcdummy kicked it deep with 13 seconds left versus the chiefs. He followed that up by calling time out after the first Chiefs completion to help the Chiefs get the right play in ....

The local media was beyond perplexed interviewing mcdummy after the Rams loss. When this shet for brains wasted a critical timeout that would have allowed the bills to call three straight timeouts and hopefully force the Rams to punt on the next drive ....Even his local worshippers in the media were utterly stunned when he said the plan was to onsides kick regardless ( you had 3 timeouts )


Unfortunately him and Brandon Beane are connected at their ball sacks. If he doesn't at least get to the AFC championship game he should be fired on the spot..... He's easily the biggest talent waster in Buffalo sports history. That's saying something considering we've had some of the worst head coaches in football and hockey

The team was so bad that they went 7-9 the next season with pretty much the same roster. Kotite was all time bad but with the worst record in the league they were set to pick Peyton but Parcells told the family he wouldn't pick him. So any Jets fan that has anything positive to say about Parcells or wants Aaron Glenn as coach because Parcells recommended him can fuck off.

Nothing personal against Glenn and if he ends up in New Orleans I wish him well but he CANNOT be the next coach of the Jets. This team hasn't had a legitmate offense this century yet all the interviews are with DCs or proven losers like Arthur Smith and Matt Nagy.
 
If they insist on a defensive coach again just go with Rex so at least the postgame press confefrences are interesting again after they lose by 40 points every week.

Thank you for the info on Parcells , had NO idea he didn't want to draft Manning ..For some reason there is a like a 4 year window around that time where I don't remember much ( was probably busy being young, chasing skirts 😜


I don't understand why anyone would want a defensive minded HC in today's game

For some reason no one wants to damage the reputation of Bill Parcells but I say fuck him for what he did to this franchise.
 
Now the Jets are interviewing Spags because they have to interview every DC in the league. No doubt Spags is a great coordinator but he was a brutal head coach and the Jets only seem to want to continue the misery.
 
@HUNT, @B.A.R. Chris Spielman is getting interviewed by the Jets. No conflict of interest at all that his brother is being paid to run the search with idiot Tannenbaum but I guess he was at least partially responsible for the Brad Holmes hire.
