I like this Mets team, and they do have the pitching advantage, but I think this is KC's year. I said it towards the end of the season when they were in cruise mode that they developed a pattern of turning it on every other game or so just to stay sharp. They have kept their eye on the prize and in doing so made the WS for the 2nd straight yr. Mets have already had a successful season - win or lose - KC knows the feeling to get here and lose. I think they have a better, deeper team than last year and get it done.
Game 1 is a play on EV at home, and a play against MH on the road. Dating back to last year, I have been a fan of EV pitching at home. MH is a .500 pitcher on the road this yr and he beat 1 playoff team (Yanks way back in April). MH also a little banged up. I like KC to get to MH and win game 1.
