Trakus had Hofburg running 43 extra feet compared to Justify, and Vino Rosso ran 30 extra feet. Considering both finished about 4 lengths behind Justify, I feel like we had the right horses getting the worst outcome. Gronkowski by comparison had a delta of only 2 feet to Justify.

In the long run probably not.

Watching it again, Tenfold gave up the spot that Gronk took to make his run. Came from way back to finish 2nd and blow up my exotics.

Because it’s Baffert it’ll be in the convo for a little while the way Bayern’s gate pinballing was noted in the BC Classic, but in the long run it won’t matter.

No, it doesn't tarnish Justify's accomplishments, it's just not a good look for the sport and makes the growing trend of big trainers and big owners teaming a little worrisome.
