great stuff Naismith
Everton forward Steven Naismith has bought tickets for Goodison Park games to donate to unemployed people across the city of Liverpool.
The former Rangers player said the time he had spent in Glasgow -- a city in which unemployment rates have sometimes been steep -- had shown him that many people who would like to see their team play could not afford tickets.
As a result, Naismith, 27, decided to buy the tickets and distribute them to fans who would benefit from them.
"Liverpool has a similar history [to Glasgow] and I am aware that, through no fault of their own, there are many unemployed in Liverpool trying hard to find a job who may not be able to afford a ticket.
