Probably a subpar PPV, but I am looking forward to see if Strickland can handle DDP.

Using a new book the last few days, bettorsden sister site of 5D for the US :) I always loved 5D even though there were lots of complaints, I played them for close to 15 years without issue. I especially dig the reduced juice on UFC, the best prices I'm seeing from 4 reduced books.

  • Two below-average flyweights open the card tonight, both coming in off 2 devastating losses. Flick does have a decent sub-game and Gordon has terrible TDD, so I'll side with the dog abd ITD for added bonus.
  • A couple of potential ladies flyweight contenders up next. Jasmine should be able to control the action on the mat, but she can still bang and hold her own standing. Cachoeira is decent standing, but unlikely to stay upright for long with Jasudavicius pressing forward and forcing her opponent against the cage before securing the takedown and compiling control time. A finish is unlikely but should be an easy decision.
  • Patterson seems a gifted athlete with nowhere to go but up after getting KO'd in his UFC debut last March. He's had ti,e to hone his game and make better use of his long 6'3" 170lb frame. Will be interesting the effect on the Cnadein crowds backing the homeboys starting with Lohan Lainesse(1-2 in UFC). Small dog play for me.

  • Both Robertson and Viana are grapplers first with minimal striking. This plays right into the hand of "The Savage" as she's a sub-machine. Polyana was subbed in her last 2 L's, so this fight is taylor made for the fiery redhead...by submission no less.
  • Serhiy Sidey and Ramon Taveras are up next, 2 bangers willing to brawl. This one should an exciting slugfest that seems very difficult to pick IMHO. I'll check props for possible fight ends in KO or such, otherwise I'll throw minimal on the dog.
  • I can see Jourdain having trouble dealing with the size and length of Woodson who can just potshot and outstrike Jourdain from the outside to get the judge's nod. Still should be an exciting featherweight scrap.
  • So long as we see no regression in Katona's game from fight to fight, he should go in there and overwhelm Armfield with his wrestling and striking. This should lead to a clear-cut decision if not a late finish.

Main Card

  • Allen knows what he's dealing with and he is a world-class wrestler, all he has to do is keep the fight standing and it's his world. Probably the 2nd best fight of the night skill-wise.
  • Should be a competitive Middleweight bout, but the "Action-Man" can!
  • With old school vs new school, usually the new prevails, however, Uncle Neil is a tough puzzle to solve and I'm not sure Mallot is up to the challenge. Of this I;m sure, no way this should be -335 lmao

  • Strickland has cardio, defense, output, and experience versus top-level talent. His problem is he doesn't have the power to slow the rush of this mad bull Dricus. I still believe he can prevail, but it'll take patience and working technique behind his top-flight defense. If he succumbs to a war, DDP likely has too much firepower. I'm gonna roll with the people's champ, who wants a Yaggo for champ anyways? But in reality, I made my money on the undercard so it's all gravy from here. No action on co-main as I'm not the least bit interested nor do I have a good read.
