2025 Golf Handicapping Thread....

Sux to be a week early on a guy, as I had Gotterup last week at the Deere….Fitzy and Hovland here

Short on time but did a lot of studying on Tuesday night for this tournament.

Cognizant is a good one to model after, as well as some other tournaments like that.

Some guys have performed well over the last 5 years directly back from Europe. I can't advise any fades. Trust me, that was my first cap!

Although, despite the little heater, I feel like Gotterup won't be in contention this week. Perhaps run outta steam a bit!

Knowing him, maybe Finau busts out and gets into the win column. This would be so on brand for him to win.

I didn't mention Mav, but he'll likely be around.

Cam Champ might just pull off a FRL.

Sunjae, Mitchell, Bhatia, Woodland Roy and Clanton all skipped into lineups.

Looking at make cuts, some good plus money options for guys around even, teeing up early tomorrow. Course is gettable and can see some guys going low that had a meh rd.1, live make cuts might be worth a look also

Olesen with the ace on 8, man that's got to feel on top of the world to be in the lead on do that
 
Should be a fun final round!

I'd say 24 guys are in it!!

And, the guys at -11 or less just need a low 60s round like we've seen a few times this week to make their case for a win.

Knapp is my bullet left. He was playing US Open golf the whole front 9 and starting the back with all pars.

5 birds and a bogey in the last 7 holes bright Jake back into true contention.

Ashkay is in several lineups for myself but I didn't touch his outright.

My guys that have a chance with a low Sunday include Perez and Eckroat.

Should be a fun Sunday!

Looking forward to the playoffs… looking for action with these plays, give me a reason to check in. Guys trying to make the playoffs will be a fun angle this weekend. Fade or follow, best of luck this week guys… swing it easy

This is my favorite time to fade golfers. Outside of maybe 5 guys they are as mentally weak as it gets, on par with WTA gals
 
Should be dry and 90 ish.

A lot of rain this summer but around still be firm from my readings.

We had 24 inches of rain in July. I've never seen anything like it. Lot of localized heavy dumps of 2 or 3 inches at a time. Wreaked havoc on my course, so much water it couldn't all get absorbed and then you get 90 degrees and it boils the shit out the grass. Brutal I feel badly for our superintendent! We finally got a break the last week or so, but it has been a mofo esp those days where it's 95 and cart path only.
