Cowboys have been playing catchup to Philly and Washington but with the draft and Pickens the roster suddenly looks much better:
- Booker solidifies the OL which now has 3 #1 picks since 2022
- CD, Pickens, Tolbert and Turpin is now an attractive WR room
- Hearing good things about Blue being the lighting to Javonte's thunder (have always liked what Javonte can bring).
- Signing of Fowler and drafting of Ezeiruaku gives them a couple of shots to have a good rusher opposite Parsons.
- LB room is probably their weak link until Overshown returns mid-season
- Revel pick has been unanimously lauded and should solidify the CB room as they wait for Diggs to return probably a couple of weeks into the season. Gilmore was also spotted at the Cowboys facility recently and is a FA.
- They still have Aubrey's and Anger's big legs
Needed to see this because the schedule is going to be a bear this year. TEN games against 2024 playoff teams, including four against the 3 best records last year (Phi, Det, KC). If they can craft a playoff worthy record they'll be battle tested.
