2025 Free Agency Thread...

All Rodgers needs is to get away from the worst franchise in professional sports and he will be fine. I don't see them beating out Baltimore but yeah he's quite the upgrade over the trash they had.
Rodgers is just not the same when he can't move like he used to. Mobility is a big part of his game

Of course he's not the same player that he was but he's a massive upgrade over what they had and they have a good enough roster around him to make the playoffs. I'd prefer to see Rodgers go to Minnesota who has a great coaching staff but getting away from Woody and Glenn is a victory in and of itself.

Minnesota doesn't need a QB1 though.

Did Seattle overlook how Darnold finished the season? Paying him that much money is insane. Not sure it's much better than what the Jags gave Bortles. So many mediocre quarterbacks are screwing their teams by managing to get paid so much -- it's actually crazy.

That's funny , first thing that came to my mind was Bortles 🤣🤣🤣

These teams are so dumb

100%

I'd expect nothing more than to sign a 14-30 quarterback. From an organization that hasn't developed a QB in 50 years.

This is simply a not-serious football franchise.
I didn't see it but Glenn supposedly gave a bullshit press conference talking about being a playoff team in year one and then goes ahead and drops Rodgers for a guy that can't average 200 yards a game passing. There were two options; keep Rodgers and try to go 10-7 or let Tyrod lead the team to 3 wins or so and get a QB in the 26 draft yet this is the direction they chose which is more proof that Glenn has no business being a head coach in the NFL. Then again who but Woody Johnson would hire yet another DC as head coach especially one that was terrible at his job.

Please rename this something with JETS or White Sox so the failure flag pops up in case we need to talk about something else

Those trenches are being built very nicely.
If Johnson is everything he's supposed to be things will be even more interesting than they already were in that division but my money would still be on them finishing in last place.

Hmmm okay maybe Im wrong about Josh Palmer . Apparently he performed better on any bill on catches with 10+ air yards. ...

Uggg Mack Hollins to the Pats on the cheap ..He was a major piece last season leading the BILLS in receiving TD'S , while being a major cog run blocking and also blocking down field ..

The Steelers are big time winners if they end up trading in Fields for Rodgers but I do have my questions about the awful Arthur Smith. I guess if Rodgers could get by with Hackett he should be able to overcome Smith and Tomlin.

Happy with the Bosa signing (thankfully only a 1 year and proven it deal ) ..Shocked they were able to get Larry Ogunjobi on a one year deal as well ..Darrick Forrest is a nice depth piece at safety...

I was kinda shocked at the dollar amount, maybe I’m not familiar with the back up market enough, not bad to not get hit a couple more years….play long
Jets paid a guaranteed 30 million to a guy who can't complete a pass but they also hired a guy that should be coaching his local high school as head coach so it makes perfect sense.
