Well, after a heartbreak, all you can do is move on to the next one (have chiefs pending still but had multi unit Det futures from nearly a year ago). I saw Mason and BOL release their numbers the other day so I started looking for some targets and to see the initial offerings.

Feel free to add other shops in here as they release (or if they already have).

Current Prices:

  • Kansas City 550
  • San Francisco 600
  • Detroit 700
  • Baltimore 1200
  • Buffalo 1200
  • Cincinnati 1600
  • Green Bay 1600
  • Dallas 1800
  • Miami 1800
  • NY Jets 2000
  • LA Chargers 2200
  • Houston 2500
  • Atlanta 3300
  • Cleveland 3300
  • Jacksonville 3300
  • LA Rams 3300
  • Chicago 4000
  • Indianapolis 4000
  • Minnesota 5000
  • Tampa Bay 5000
  • Pittsburgh 6600
  • Seattle 6600
  • Arizona 7500
  • Las Vegas 7500
  • Others 10000-15000

So, we obviously have the month of March to see key movement and then a draft right here in Detroit to finish up shaping these rosters. Plenty of time to act on futures, but sometimes you see some value right away that you want to lock in a number at.

Couple of quick takes:

I predicted 800-900 for Detroit, so pretty close.
The Rodgers effect with that Jets number. What about the OL?
JH effect with the Chargers number. Had to be priced in.
Atlanta at that number is interesting. Need a QB first though.
Buffalo and Dallas can be +5000 and I wouldn't touch them. They both are close, but have peaked under current staffs.
I do like to take schedules into account. You have a team that lacks value, sometimes a rough slate to start creates said value.

Possible targets for me down the line:

Cincy (health and needs at a few spots)
Houston (more defense ta the min)

Already played on Tuesday:

LA Rams +3300 (max allowed, as this was circled)

Like me some Indy

Thing with Houston is by winning the division they'll auto get Buffalo, KC and Baltimore (not sure which division they play in full)

Think with ATL you have to bet it on having a capable QB, last rumblings I've heard was Russ was a possibility

Can also assume Minny will have a legit QB with those weapons

indy was my 1st thought also. to me early richardson looked like lamar without the excessive need i feel like lamar has shown to try and confirm into what they want him to be, i was all for improving himself as a thrower but other than just the dumb fivk mistakes and awful play calling last week i still think ravens win had he did what got him this far, kc d was playing all coverage and there was green for days on lot those plays he insisted on hanging in pocket and chucking it, mfer coulda ran for 200+ and won easy imo. its pretty obvious who was the brains behind hurts and philly offense, AR15 way more naturally gifted than hurts imo.

what chargers number been the previous few years? i said if they ever fired that complete moron and paid for a real coach id be a buyer, i assume Harbaugh is gonna get all kinds of value/difference makers up and down this draft since he has a huge advantage in the next few drafts kinda like carroll did when he left usc. watch after the draft they be down in the 15-1800 range. better than 20-1 def has value imo.

i assume ravens will be right there again but they always have so many freaking injuries might as well wait, someone hired their dc also right?

Small lean on 3 squads who are all at +3300

Falcons should be better with a Qb , schedule strength is ties for easiest in the league .

Jaguars Might have made some noise if Trevor Lawrence didn't suffer like 48 injuries down the stretch ..

Rams Win or lose I think the 49ers will have a big hangover next season ..

At +4000 The Colts are okay , but they should probably be at least +5000

9ers Chiefs to meet. Not sure what the odds are. Expect both to address glaring needs that don’t need a lot of money or capital to address. Chiefs will add a back, a WR, and more to a SB roster. 9ers will resume drafting in the 1st round with a boat load of comp picks and get Tuafunga back in the secondary. Think we this these match up at least a couple of more times next 4-5 years.

Most bettors are going to over look the BILLS at those seemingly low odds , however they may have been the 2nd best team in the league ..Only losing to the Chiefs by a FG despite the defense being decimated by injuries ..Most of us thought the defense was finished for the season when the key piece Matt Milano went down , Bernard stepped in and played amazing all season, losing Bernard doomed them vs the Chiefs as he was the only coverage LB on the roster ..Forced to put a very slow Aj Klein out there who was packing his winnebago for family vacation in the keys just 2 weeks prior...Rasul Douglas was a super like up at CB , but he was clearly hobbled vs the Chiefs .

Kincaid , Shakir and Cook will be studs next year.Thought around town is they draft 2 WR in their 4 first draft picks...

Hoping to get +750 or more to win the AFC after a few older players are cut or traded ..Can't see Hyde ,Tre White,Daquan Jones, choker Gabe Davis or Aj Epenesa back next year .

All that being said I'm McDermott's biggest detractor, he should have been fired BEFORE the massive 13 seconds choke 3 seasons ago imo ...

Love to root for the bills...

But you are all wasting prime J.A. years with this coach.

Period.

Just like Dallas with McCarthy.

Zero chance either coach ever wins a SB as a HC moving forward.

And trust me, other than Detroit, no team i would rather see.

He did make some good changes later in the year.

I just don't think he's it.

Honestly, that's the situation Jim should have wanted more than any in the NFL.

Hope I'm wrong. I just can't invest futures money in that coach.

I've done it enough with Fat Mike.

Win or lose this Sunday, I think the 49ers get aggressive in draft and free agency to either win the Super Bowl or potentially win back-to-back Superbowls. Next year they are bringing everyone back in their prime and is the last year before Purdy will get an extension.

I like the 49ers to repeat as NFC Champs

All star roster with a few holes that can be plugged very easily.

Lot of words there to describe “we got beat in the Divisional Round again”. We had four starting OL down in a Super Bowl and nobody gave a shit when we got smashed.

Also curious about how Gabe Davis is a choker. I’m actually good friends with his agent so I was Jw what your perspective was. His agents perspective is Josh cares about Josh. Won’t meet with guys in the off-season. Keeps to himself almost year round.

Chiefs to win the AFC again btw.

In seriousness, I enjoy your threads.

Love the Rams pick as far as longer shots go. Bones are strong there to make a move.

Gabe Davis seemed lost this season ar anything other than run blocking ( might be the best run blocking wr in the league thou ) ..Ran the wrong route in the Eagles game that cost them a potential game winner , ran the wrong route 3+ times in the finale , stopped running on 6+ bombs this season where he had several steps on his defender....Maybe I'm wrong , but he didn't look anything like the busting his ass Gabe from the previous years on all 22 ...

No harm in losing to the Chiefs dynasty...McDermott is not good enough to scheme up any pressure on Mahomes in the playoffs..Believe they've had zero sacks and zero picks in 3 playoff games ...
I could be wrong but last offseason was the first one Josh kept to himself ...He seemed too busy with his new gf and making too many dumb ass commercials...

Not taking anything away from the Chiefs victory over the BILLS , would have been cool to see if a healthy defense would have mattered ...Bills might be the 2nd best team in football , if the Chiefs beat the 49ers by 4 or more I'd believe those words whole heartedly...

Thank you for reading my rambling degen threads brother

Sweep you sb slate , bol to you and those Chiefs .

On paper, to me anyway, this year's Rams D had the worst roster I can remember in recent memory. I couldn't hit that 7 win total under fast enough.

What McVay did doesn't get near enough credit imo. +3300? Sign me up.

Cleveland Id like a little more +

They losing a lot?
Big problem with them is Cinci getting Burrow back so Cleveland is instantly at best 3rd in the division and that's if you think they finish above Pitt

A guy I know has a nephew that plays for the Rams. He says they basically had two different game plans on D each game. His nephew would barely play one half and then play almost every snap the next half.

You've just sprinkled magic dust on the Falcons hire for CPA. Well done Cub
