Off today, tomorrow Lynn vs Verlander

Day off yesterday, in Houston for a two game series
Tonight Lynn is looking for a W hasn’t had one since August 2nd
He is 1-2 with a 3.00 ERA

Well Fiers did get lit up on Saturday yet i still lost.

Huge price today on Lynn when Verlander is 21-10 and supposedly -3u this year cuz he's lost as a huge favorite a bunch

The difference in this game was Lynn gave up three solo long balls as we lost 4-1 dropping our record to 74-78
Lynn threw 103 pitches over seven innings, gave up seven hits four runs all of them earned walked one struck out eight

Mazara hit his 18th HR a solo shot our only run of the game
Went 0-5 with RISP left 4 on base & struck out 12 times

Allard goes to the hill tonight, off tomorrow as we head to Oakland for a weekend series against the A’s

Lynn was great, but Verlander was dominant and that Angel Hernandez k-zone was disgusting. Had to have a dinner reservation at Truluck's.

What do we think about Allard tonight? I'm worried he gets hit hard

We lost a tough one 3-2 now on a five game losing streak our record is now 74-79
Allard was good going five innings giving up four hits two runs both earned walked four struck out two the big hit was a two run shot by Gurriel

Guzman hit his tenth of the year a solo shot
Went 0-8 with RISP left 5 on base & struck out 11 more times

Off today as we head to Oakland for a weekend series

In Oakland for a three game set....
Minor vs Fiers should be a good one, I’m pretty sure our five game losing streak ends tonight

Minor didn’t have much as the A’s just steam rolled us 8-0 we’ve now lost six in a row our record stands at 74-80
Minor struggled through five innings giving up six hits six runs all earned walked four struck out three gave up two home runs he threw 105 pitches
Minor ended up 0-3 vs the A’s for this year with a 9.56 ERA his most losses against any team this season

We only mustered two hits one by DeShields other one from Choo-Choo
Never had a RISP didn’t leave any one base & struck out seven times

Such a disappointing way to be ending up this season, Burke takes to the hill tonight

Brock Burke got lit up again, this time he couldn’t get out of the first inning as we lost our seventh in a row 12-3 record is now 74-81
Any chance to be .500 is now gone

Burke threw 39 pitches & lasted just 0.2 of an inning giving up five hits seven runs all of them earned walked two only thing he did right was not giving up a home run
We then used seven other pitchers

Elvis hit his 11th a solo shot
Santana hit his 26th a solo shot
Solak hit his 5th also a solo shot
Went 0-4 with RISP left six on base & struck out seven more times

Lynn takes to the hill today he hasn’t won since August 2nd he’s 0-5 with a 3.97 ERA and a 1.36 WHIP over his last eight starts
This year vs the A’s he’s 1-1 with a 6.46 ERA

Off tomorrow as we head home to face the Red Sox on Tuesday, this is the final week at Globe Life Park the much despised Yankees are in for the final series

Powered by Calhoun’s two home runs we broke our losing streak & won 8-3 our record is now 75-81
Lynn went 5.1 innings gave up seven hits two runs both earned walked one struck out twelve

Calhoun hit his 19th & 20th HR’s driving in 2

Elvis hit his 12th a two run shot
Mazara hit his 19th a solo shot
Santana drove in one run
Went 2-4 with RISP left 4 on base & struck out 8 times

A day off today, tomorrow night we host the Red Sox

We got outslugged 12-10 dropping our record to 75-82 this loss assured of yet another losing season
Volquez got ripped in 0.2 innings five hits four runs all of them earned walked one
Jurado also got drilled 3.0 innings six hits four runs three of them earned gave up one home run

Odor went 1-3 hitting his 28th a two run shot he ended up with three RBIs
Heinenman went 2-5 driving in three
Elvis went 3-3 driving in two
Santana & Trevino each drove in one run

Allard takes to the hill tonight

We scored three in bottom of the first then proceeded to give up ten straight runs and we lost 10-3 record is now 75-83
Allard got hit hard in his 3.0 stint giving up six hits five runs all earned walked one struck out one & gave up a two run blast
Martin & Gibaut were also ineffective

Odor knocked in two & has 86 RBI’s but batting .203
Guzman drove in our other run
Went 3-8 with RISP and left 6 on base struck out 11 more times

Minor takes to the hill for an afternoon game, I don’t like the way we are stumbling to the finish line... we look tired & very disinterested

Lead by Santana’s grand slam & Minor’s gutsy pitching performance we won 7-5 our record is now 76-83
Minor went 8.2 innings throwing 126 pitches he gave up 10 hits five runs all earned walked two struck out nine & gave up two long balls
There was some controversy as well on recording his 200th strikeout of the season Guzman let a foul ball drop so he could get the one more strikeout he needed
Even more bizarre was Minor got out of the eighth inning on only three pitches

Santana hit his 27th which was a grand slam driving in four
Calhoun hit his 21st a solo shot
Odor hit his 29th also a solo shot
Guzman got one RBI as well

Palumbo takes to the hill tonight vs the Evil Empire NY Yankees, other than closing weekend at Globe Life I expect bad blood during this series, should be fun to watch

Yankees mashed 6 home runs & went on to beat us 14-7 our record is now 76-84
Palumbo went 3.0 innings gave up five hits three runs all earned walked one struck out seven & gave up three solo home runs
Sampson got tore up again lasting only 2.0 innings he gave up five hits five runs all earned walked one struck out one & gave up two home runs

Choo-Choo hit his 24th HR a two run shot
Santana hit his 28th HR also a two run shot
Calhoun,Trevino & Heineman all drove in one run
Went 3-7 with RISP left five on base & struck out ten more times

Farrell takes to the hill for our final night game in Globe Life

Odor drove in six runs, four of them came from a grand slam & we go on to beat the Yankees 9-4 our record is now 77-84
Farrell went 2.0 innings he gave up one hit one run which was earned walked none struck out none
We then used five other pitchers, four threw well but Leclerc got lit up pitched one inning gave up two hits three runs all earned walked one struck out one

Odor went 2-4 driving in six runs led by his 30th of the season a grand slam, he’s batting .204
Calhoun,Trevino & Kiner-Falefa each drove in one run
We went 4-14 with RISP left eleven on base & struck out 9 more times

Lynn gets the start in our final game at Globe Life we are closing the doors on our 26 year old ballpark

Rangers are bringing in our who’s who in for this game
Pudge, Will Clarke, Mark Teixeira,Michael Young, Ian Kinsler,Adrian Beltre,A-Hole oh I meant ARod,Josh Hamilton,Juan Gonzalez,Nelson Cruz,Yu Darvis, Kenny Rogers & Mike Napoli

Farewell GLP

Our last game in Globe Life Park was a success as we won 6-1 ending the season with a record of 78-84
Lynn was great going 7.1 innings giving up only 2 hits one run which was earned walked one struck out 10 and gave up a solo HR

Guzman went 1-4 driving in two
Calhoun & Santana each drove in one
Went 3-12 with RISP leaving 7 on base & struck out 6 times

A season of some highs & then some lows, we have two studs as our starters but then who knows
Trevino could be a very good catcher for us next year
Our bullpen has many question marks
We need a third baseman & first baseman

I’ll write up a complete report card for this team by Wednesday I thank the CTG family for bearing with this the entire season it was a interesting ride for sure
