Don't really do much with majors until the 2nd week but it's a holiday weekend and just a little bored today. Wish I'd looked a bit more, Karlovic overs in this tournament are no-brainers.

Yeah he wasn't moving well at all and it just compounded with the frustration, doubt he'll ever be too productive on grass. Very good win for Medvedev regardless.

90 minute match isn't what I was looking for with that over :hang:

Don't think Isner was going to lose a set to anyone outside the top 4 anyway with 80% first serves, so I can't be too upset. Fritz didn't stand a chance at returning much of anything.

Much needed day off today, slept through most of it anyway. Saw one I'da taken it in the shorts (Medvedev). And can we please keep Giorgi around for as long as possible? Like watching a goddess.

Futures time-I really do think we'll see another Fed/Nadal final, those odds really suck. Fed +200 to win it all after round 1? Thing is, I don't think they'll improve from here on out so guess I'll throw down.

Muguruza draw is insane, just gonna put it down on her hoping she can make her way into the quarters and put some insurance on the 4th round wager.

Ugh to buy off Safarova or not after that BMS injury...she's in tears ffs, doubles is over for her now too. Really liked everything about that match and probably gonna stay stubborn and stick with it but plenty potential she's an emotional wreck.

Is there a match you didn't have a bet on?!! :tiphat:

Great picks on Sela, Raonic over and Rybarikova! Just to name a few I was on as well haha

I haven't seen Mugu playing so far, but yes draw wide open. I like Rybarikova to maybe go all the way she plays great on grass.

On the men's side, I think Cilic would beat Nadal here; Rafa playing well so far but I don't trust him on grass anymore he had really easy opponents for his style of play in his 2 matchs

Haha buncha matches I had no opinion, generally I don't do much week 1 but with the holiday on Tuesday, this week has been worthless for work so more time to throw money away on Wimbledon. This is a different tournament though, it's playing much more like a hard court than usual...heat and no rain, the ball is popping up a bit more.

Womens as always is pretty wide open, and as for Nadal, he's in great form and tbh I don't trust Murray (health) or Joker (form) to go the distance, and I really don't think anyone beyond the top 4 are viable candidates to win.

Not afraid to admit when I'm getting my ass kicked, Harrison and Rublev going longer than necessary sucked. And the early retires haven't worked in my favor, the unit saved with Feliciano doesn't make up for everything else obviously. This isn't playing like normal Wimbledon, it's hot and hard.

No chance in hell I'm betting against Ostapenko at this point, but I'm quite certain she'll make it interesting either way. The over is somewhat insurance, I love the way Giorgi is playing but that one has 3 sets written all over it and I'm going with the notion that this chick just wins. Love watching Giorgi play, aesthetically of course.

Oy I like one of these three to win it, don't know how to play it and obv on Mugu already

Pretty high numbers in the men's draw but I'm ok with laying it in tennis, -350 or so is where I kinda take a step back, but will go well above that if it makes sense. Individual sports are just so different. Not many outside factors.

82229 Timea/Aga o21.5 -113

Can't see any way Shelby Rogers beats Kerber but not gonna lay -444...yet. That's such a mismatch.

Well guess I'll bet out Vika, Mugu and Ostapenko, just my top 3 in this draw and gonna get pricy

Fed on the mens side, going to try to work Rafa in as well...think it's those two

82204 Azarenka ML -235 2*

Yeah you might be right with a possible Rafa/Roger final, I watched half of his match today he is impressive. Lots of players saying the grass plays much slower this year than previous years as well... I still think it will be very difficult for him in the next 2 rounds and I could see either Muller or Cilic beating him.

Looks like your big plays today went well, especially nice pick with Bautista Agut :cheers3:

This +8 is setting up to be a disgusting loss, whining all over the court from both players now it's my turn

Rog should easily handle Mischa in straights, if somehow this gets extra games for TB so be it. Can even handle one set of that...think set one of the last match was the alarm I guess. Should be a rout.

Murray lucky to play this kind of mental midget, Paire in the next round could be the same.

On it too, should be a straight set win. I'll say 6-4 6-3 6-2

I will be betting Kerber on Saturday and will be laying over -400, rare occasion it makes sense to me. Going to wait it out, it's -430 now and I don't know that it gets better than that, but it's #1 vs that girl you're ashamed to wake up next to. Or Fondy. Point is, it should be 3x higher...and what sucks is I was looking forward to fading her about now, but if Shelby f'n Rogers beats Kerber I'll eat my crow to the tune of a significant loss. She's got 2 chins and 3 underarms.

That's about what I'm thinking. My Konjuh fade has sucked to this point but helps she's still alive in doubles, Venus at around -200 is plenty interesting, that's a mismatch too if Venus is remotely sane.

82221 Svitolina/Ostapenko o22 -106 3*, total 5*

Will add to it as well, Jelena a 3 set machine and has the power on grass to make this possibly a great match

Point is, it should be 3x higher...and what sucks is I was looking forward to fading her about now, but if Shelby f'n Rogers beats Kerber I'll eat my crow to the tune of a significant loss. She's got 2 chins and 3 underarms.

Harsh, very harsh KJ!!! Not a supermodel but I wouldn't say no! Anyway you may be right going with the under I wouldn't trust Kerber or any other girl except Serena when she is such a big favorite.

Haha I admit I had to sift through several pics to find this one!

Anyway I don't only fuck supermodels, I'd hit it :cigarguy:

She looks like she's got a couple Copenhagens in....and she slays cheese curds. Not that I'm against that, but my money is.

I'm not against girls who likes to eat some meat, still a yes for me! But yeah she's better looking outside the courts so let's go Angie!

Thick n Stick...going to have an abnormal amount on Angie tomorrow at ridiculously high odds.

One more thing...this has been hot and dry so far and endurance is kinda important imo. Have you watched Rogers? She's got a lot of work to do to remotely get in shape. This sucks because I really wanted to fade Kerber here but this is a matchup that I think she can sleepwalk through.

No I hardly watch the women in the 1st week of Slams, except when I have a bet. Otherwise I try to catch the end of a set if it's close, for example I watched a bit of Kerber-Flipkens last round, 7-5 7-5, I thought Angie was playing ok but not great. I didn't watch Rogers but beating Safarova is a great win, even if this one wasn't 100% after BMS's injury... Also, Kerber's results in Wimbledon have been a bit hit and miss I think she is capable of having an off day you never know http://www.wimbledon.com/en_GB/players/overview/wta311470.html

I do think Kerber wins though

Lucie was a mess, a dramatic mess after that

And I hate betting on these women, typically terrible tennis but this, imo, is the caveat. Couldn't prepare for that. Doubt Cirstea even shows up.

Thoughts on Radwanska/Bacs?

Ugh lost a big write up, it was long and thought out lol then disappeared

Aga going to keep it close regardless but has no real counterpunch, from everything I know Timea will try to make her counterpunch. From everything I know, it will piss Timea off and I should take Aga to win straight up, she won't care at all if every point takes a couple minutes. Mental battle really...and I give that edge to Aga. But reality is that she has no weapon to put Timea away other than long rallies. So...I guess I'm going with what I think will dictate the pace (Aga) and even if she doesn't win, this thing should see some games. Another one where if I had live betting it would likely alter my approach mid-match...would you feel comfortable with an under in this thing? I wouldn't at all...not completely convinced Aga can't win this tournament but not going crazy like that, but I'm guessing when she goes out it will be a pain in the ass for whoever she loses to.
