The biggest change to this year’s NBA Playoffs schedule is the expanded NBA Finals, which will last a potential of eighteen days. Games 1 and 2 of the series will continue to take place on a Thursday (June 2) and Sunday (June 5), respectively, but the addition of extra travel days has stretched out the remainder of the schedule. Games 3 and 4 will be on Wednesday, June 8 and Friday, June 10, Game 5 on Monday, June 13, Game 6 on Thursday, June 16 and Game 7 on Sunday, June 19.
As was the case last year, there is the potential that playoff games could air on ESPNEWS. ESPN has rights to up to four first round Game 6s on Friday, April 29, which is also day two of the NFL Draft. With ESPN2 locked into NFL Draft coverage, ESPNEWS would air games in the event that more than two series are still active.
The full playoff schedule was not immediately available. Additional data will be filled in as the postseason draws closer.

C's got the worst matchup they could have gotten...Atl will eat them up inside. Boston will scrap and they will play tenacious d so I will look at the total in each game in search of a possible under and look to play the C's where they are home and down a couple games. I cannot envision Atl losing this series
 
Yep. C's needed to lose against Miami. Stevens good enough to coach them to 2 wins though.

Even I have to admit Detroit at +800 is attractive. But I think the Cavs have been playing possum. They got this.
 
Is there a zero missing on the Cavs price ? If I were younger I probably would try to steal a dime at that price.

Yes.

They were -4000 last year in the first round vs Celtics. I understand that Detroit is an unusual 8th seed in that they have been a much better team since trading for Tobias Harris, have a dominant big man in Drummond, and I think a great coach in Van Gundy. That said, Cleveland isn't losing. I would say Cavs in 5.
 
Cavs were the best team in the NBA, record wise, for a pretty extended stretch to close last season, think it was two+ months. Perception is that they're out of sync, disinterested, unhappy, soft, take your pick. And I think Detroit beat 'em a couple times too with Lebron on the floor. I wouldn't expect it to be much higher. Cavs will play out one close contest in winning the first 3, drop game 4 with an average effort, then storm home late in game 5 after Detroit gets up early and makes people think there might be a game 6. Seen that scenario play out many many times between a 1/2 vs. a 7/8.
 
Every first round eastern conference matchup is great.... not saying either of the lower seeds will win, but it would not surprise me if ANY of them did

Out West, I would be surprised by any of the lower seeds winning, except Dallas.


Edit: I would be surprised if Indy won more than a game.

What are you guys seeing for the Cavs to win the east? My book is showing -300 but they're notorious for giving out shitty lines.
 
Cavs win the east without a scare. My pulse on this team has been good. They've been pointing to this month for months. Only two teams can best the Cavs in 7, and they're going to bump into one, but not in the east.
 
Is a 4 horse race (Dubs, Spurs, Cavs and Raptors) but realistically a 2 horse race (Dubs and Cavs).

Every other team is merely making up the numbers.

Will be shocked if the Dubs don't repeat this season and 3-peat next season.
 
Yeah I think the Cavs win the east too. Teams have improved in the East, but I don't think they're ready yet to take it. You can get a game or two here against the Cavs but to win 4 is tough. Boston within the next few years can make a legitimate push.
 
Heat prone to big spells of zero offensive production, won't work in the playoffs vs a team that can defend and score.

Only way they have a chance to beat the Cavs in a series is if every game is played in South Beach,

because LeCramps goes soft in that city.
 
Only threat to the Cavs are the WATN dudes. They should both meet up in the ECF's.

Looking forward to the Meat v Hornets series.
 
Divisional series in both conferences are gonna be pretty dope too, as long as there's no upsets in the 1st round,

which there shouldn't be.

You can disagree but this team will get shutdown by the Raps or Cavs should they meet if they even get past Charlotte. They need Bosh.

Miami is the 2nd worst team repping the East, 1st is obviously Detroit.

we shall see, it certainly wont be because they go through offensive spells.... the hornets are much more prone to that than the heat are

That is totally untrue. Hornets are a much better offensive unit than the Meat and are slightly better defensively.

Based on cold hard numbers, stats and predictive simulations.

There is value all over the Hornets in this series.
 
Anyone like the UNDER game 1 BOS/ATL? 207 seems pretty nuts unless I'm seeing this series wrong. I think BOS wins this series and does it on the D end.

When the Pacers are on defensively they're a real tough out, have them ranked 3rd worst but happy to interchange them and Miami.

I'm assuming you're ranking this based on your 'eye test' alone.

The Hornets have been very impressive, I agree with that... I just have seen them not being able to sustain DD leads and get complacent and out of wack... in the playoffs the pressure is magnified. If the Hornets can make their 3's like they have most of this season they should be good... i'll be on them in their home games
