Thoughts on the Premier League tomorrow are simple. City off the clean sheet (regardless of who is in goal) I don't like it to happen back to back, and I think City should get to three goals against Swans. Home pressure is the concern, but I like the chance of seeing some goals. In Leicester, they just can't score and I certainly lean to United, but this has the feel of one of those matches an underachieving team steps up and plays well. Kinda wanted to take the Leicester team total under, but at .5 no thanks in a monster home match with them seriously facing a relegation battle. Hoping for 1-0 or 1-1 type.

One of those days that coulda been even a lot better but didn't get that goal in the last 10-15 minutes in any of those games to make a difference. No complaints, think PSG are just reeling in Monaco at this point. Napoli disappointing, possibly just went through the motions in that first half after looking at the stats. Mainz has just owned Augsburg h2h lately. Plenty to go over tonight.
 
Well there are way too many games on a Saturday and all I try to do is diversify to the best I can. Thankfully the time off has helped, but in general, two things I haven't taken time off from are RB Leipzig in Germany, especially at home, and Las Palmas at home in Spain. One of those happens Saturday. I will likely also be on PSG until further notice in some fashion, but away is where the lines will still be reasonable. Champions League fires back up this week too, so those extra games as well as Cup games now come into play while figuring out the domestic leagues. Ie, which prizes are the eyes on...Leicester have eyes on three things imo...CL, FA Cup, and avoiding relegation. That's pretty fascinating to me.
 
Will do this in doses, starting with Premier...last week was such a bad week for the top of the league that the instant reaction will be to go after the rebound. That's one of my favorite things in all of sport, situation. But...CL comes back into play this week. And look who has to travel to Munich. That said, CL look ahead angle hasn't been great to me last couple years, just have a feeling Arsenal is a little different given the recent heat domestically and Wenger chat. Have to think the match midweek is a defining one, this one against Hull...especially now that they've been basically relieved of challenging Chelsea domestically in the media...not so much.

Ze Germans going to give a bit to think about. As referenced above, Bayern/Arsenal could border on such a large match this year that this is the ultimate look ahead. It's never fun to hold a ticket against Bayern but this may be the spot. Dortmund have a tough one in Portugal as well this week, red hot team that can absolutely beat them. Problem is their facing a pee wee defense. On the flip, it's ripe for Leipzig to win 4-0 or so, that one is go time to a crazy degree. Schalke could have a much needed statement game but they just can't score goals in numbers. Think this is one that will define their season for better or worse.

Spain kinda boring to bet, outside of the top 3 it's tough to have a ton of confidence (although Palmas at home is great). I keep thinking Valencia will start rolling yet they been getting participation ribbons. Going to the well on them again, not interested really in Barca or Real matches right now, and lean Athletic Bilbao but not so much as to make a bet. Maybe tomorrow.

Everything says Spurs about this one, but desperate Pool makes this fascinating. Thinking goals as Pool should play free given the lack of expectations, and Spurs should as well with nothing to lose at Anfield (other than points, but hopefully that makes sense). 1-1 will be my kryptonite.

What a kick in the nuts to not get that over in Pool/Spurs game, and a self-inflicted kick on Leipzig. I'm afraid that team has hit a wall and I paid the price to learn that today. Spent so much time capping last night and let that match get the best of me while doing pretty well on the others. And fuck Ingolstadt as well for giving up two extra time goals to BM. That one hurt. Guess I somehow should feel lucky it wasn't worse after a complete misread on Leipzig.

The renaissance appears to be over hugh, it's getting frustrating to not get the later goals that help the cause, only hurt. That, and my go to (Leipzig and Las Palmas at home) both took it in the pooper this weekend. Top it off with two Higuaín goals and 45 minutes left just to see nada, that sucks. Red to boot. It's that shitty feeling every gambler gets in every sport when things just don't quite go their way at the end of games. Spent quite a bit of time on it this weekend too, oh well.
